Priyanka Chopra, in true sense, is one a voyage to dominate the world. Wearing the hat of a trailblazer, the actress is a superstar with millions of fans all over. With an impressive resume comprising of the coveted Miss World title, defining filmography, a successful Hollywood television series and appreciative philanthropic work, PeeCee is certainly worthy of being called a global icon'. And it comes as no surprise that the 35-year-old actress has emerged at the number one spot on the Score Trends India chart.

Priyanka took a gigantic jump of 42.62 points in the second week of April (as per the data extracted on April 19) to gain 87.43 points, elbowing out the other names by a huge margin. These statistics are authenticated and researched by the US-based media tech startup Score Trends India. "Priyanka has a strong social hold and has been trending in all platforms including Twitter, FaceBook, Digital News, Broadcast, Viral News and print making her the most popular celebrity with 87.43 points. We collect data from over 600 news sources across 14 languages in India to analyse the media, said Ashwani Kaul.

Following the Quantico star are Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in descending order.

These include Facebook, Twitter, print publications, viral news on social media, broadcast and digital platforms. Various sophisticated algorithms then help us to process this massive amount of data and arrive at the scores and rankings of Bollywood stars, he added.

While Priyanka has always been in the news for her consistent achievements both in the West and in India , the announcement of her being cast in Bharat opposite megastar Salman Khan who is consistently on top of Score Trend India Charts in the male star category created a humongous buzz across various social platforms.

Earlier this week, Priyanka Chopra also spoke about Bharat with actor Salman Khan in an interview with the Esquire magazine while mentioning her upcoming projects.

"I've finished up two films: A Kid Like Jake, which comes out in June. And Isn't it Romantic?, which comes out Valentine's Day 2019. I play a spoiled rich woman who is a yoga guru, which is not a thing. [Bharat] is the Indian movie I signed this year. It's the quintessential Bollywood movie, which I haven't done in many years. A lot of them were dramatic and thematic. This one's going to be out and out entertainment. I'm excited! I haven't been back to do a movie in two or three years now, she said.

Considering Deepika's 4th position in the list, why pull down the girl you congratulated on social media recently, by using her name in the headline than Alia and Sonam's who stood 2nd and 3rd respectively.

so only deepika has right to pull down others? From anu to kangana all had talked about deepika's aggressive pr indirectly. Others are not Gandhi that if they get slapped on one side, they will allow it on other side!

So you are accepting that others use PR too to belittle rivals. Anushka's last PR piece dragged her bff Katrina. What slap did she get from Katrina that she did so?

Why are other actresses' PR drama viewed through rosy tinted glasses?

Every actress has a pr. no one denies it. But their pr r nothing infront of deepika who got the most aggressive pr

she is passive aggressive person and uses her pr to dish hate on others.

When will people realize that media doesn't need any PR from actresses to write this kind of articles.

The supposed competition between actors and actresses will always make a headline and it is a Clickbait.

Media knows that this kind of articles will always work. They don't need any heads up from any PR.

They will wilfuly not realise it because it lets them blame Deepika for every article.

How do you know this with absolute certainty? Do you work in the media circuit?
