Yes dear life is competition for everyone...but each one faces it in different fields and in different stages of life ...we saw today both sameer and Naina failing in their attempts but didn't loose hope ...
I used to love dancing and use to participate during school and college days programs...after that my family took priority...but now since couple of years as I am part of one or other group...I am back on stage and that was not easy for me...stage fear and lack of confidence but with strong determination got over all my fears ..

Nice to hear from you,...i had a dance teacher Kumud type...she scolded me so hard when i was late for the competition and the performance was already over...then i was in 5th standard and my father dropped me late due to some confusion in timings...that day and today ...me and dance are poles apart😳
I'm now embarassed to even lift my hand for dancing...forget shaking a leg😳

Wonderful post!!!

Challenges In life...we always have to face these challenges to become something...nothing comes easily... struggle and hard work is a part of success!!!

I am a CA final student...I know every professional field has its own challenges...bt I will talk about the challenge which we CA students face!!!
Our course is for 4 yrs...bt it is very rare that anyone completes in four years...nly extraordinary students can!!!
There are many challenges in this...we start our articleshp(internship) at our teenage when we are 19 or something...when ur other friends are enjoying and living their life...u are stuck up in office filing returns and listening shoutings from ur boss in ur teenage u are already working as corporate adults!!! After three years if this articleshp comes ur CA final...which is the toughest challenge...u have to do ur classes while u are working at office...so ur schedule is generally 7.30 to 10 classes...then 10.30 to 8.30 office...n then ur classes ka homework!!!!
After all this struggle u fail CA final and then even after scoring and passing individually in all subjects just as u did not get the aggregate of 400 and u are left by just 4 marks u have to study all 8 subjects again...this is not easy studying all 8 subject all over again!!! It is frustrating!!!
Bt then it is a challenge the day u become the CA...this struggle seems nothing...the happiness is beyond all the challenges...just that happy n proud smile of ur parents speaks a lot than these challenges!!!

World is full of challenges u can succeed if u have the courage to face it!!!

Nice post
Life is full of ups and downs right.

I remember once the dance we had practiced for the Annual day program was rejected as there were too many entries that year and maybe the Principal did not like our dance compared to others.

I was so heartbroken. It took days to get over it.
But then that is life. Now when I look back, I just smile at what happened.

I guess sometimes , these fears that are created at school kind of stays with in you ...

Most of my English teachers thought , I was hopeless ...I wont blame them because there were students in my class who used to excel in the subject...and in those days reading romance especially Mills and boons were a taboo...but that didn't stop me from reading them...so till I graduated I used to borrow books from libraries...once I started earning , I used to buy 1 or 2 Mills and boons every month..and I did that for so many years...I guess its only couple of years back I gave all those to a library near my parents house...hoping that it would help other ppl like me...

As I read these books , I felt the need to write ..a need to weave my own thoughts and imaginations into stories...slowly got into writing...but never talked abt that part of me to anyone...till I wrote my first OS here in this forum.

I quite resonate your thoughts. Those days teachers were like Kumud.(My blood boils when I see her taunting Naina) Yesterday's episode just reminded me of one teacher in my school who used to be extremely partial and never gave a chance to me in class to read. Even when I lifted hands to answer, she ignored me. It was as if she had a personal grudge against me. And she was my English teacher and I hated her class and the subject. However I loved reading books since childhood and that motivated me to take up learning the language on my own. I even write blogs, not that great at writing, but definitely doing fine.
The point is yes, teachers in those times created unncessary competition between students and had their own favourites. I suppose the situation has changed now. Hope today's kids get more Shanti like teachers who understand you and guide you.

Competition is now turned life yaar..
Bina competition ke toh Hum 1st class me nhi pahuchte...
Har jagah competition hai bas.
Or kabhi kabhi success toh kabhi rejection face karna hi padta hai 😊
