Both actors look incredibly beautiful when they show vulnerability. My particular favorite moments were when Adi is sort of stunned by how much Zoya needs him. I think earlier he thought she's just plain dumb, but now he finally realizes she's very vulnerable and alone.
- when he holds her close and quiets her so the gang members don't hear her, he's outright gawking at her and in awe of her beauty
- Also special mention for when Zoya slaps him, he looks guilty for the FIRST time ever. And I'm glad, finally shows some growth in his character.
- There was a beautiful expression Harshad Chopra did when Zoya is telling him please don't leave me alone in the dark, he half-smiles and quietly looks at her like "how are you so adorable?" and there's an adoring, bemused look on his face.
- how she holds his hand to stop him from leaving the room because she's afraid of the dark, and then how she stares at him when he is lighting the candle (I was like DAMN girl, I thought you were in love with Yash LOL, but I totally understand because Harshad Chopra is a beautiful man).
Those times when they talk with their expressions are my favorite.
I really hope that the director(s) choose to let the relationship unfold naturally like this, with depth of emotions through expressions rather than shouting or dramatics and going over the top. HarshJen already have the sort of natural and warm chemistry that leads need. It will just take a little spark and it will become intense on its own.
Now to quote Adi:
"Aj ke liye itna interaction kafi hai, is ke bad overdose ho jaye ga" 😆
P.S. I love Adi's "ding ding ding ding" when he's singing hahaahhaha
