I kinda get his frustration. Once a song is released, the singers can monetize it by singing in concerts or tour, even when their playback career ends. But what about those who actually write the song. Music director still get shows to perform but what about lyricist? Writing a song is not an easy task. It is way tougher than singing, you need to come up with appropriate words and lines which rhymes, fits the situation and touches the right chords. It takes days, even months to write a beautiful song.

so why is against singers getting royaltyies , if a music director and lyricist gets a royalty it will be much easier for them because they had a 1 time job they composed (copied) , lyricist write a song and then they never had to go to stage to sing it again an again to earn money , compare them to singers they are the one who sings the tune 100 a day in concert , its singer who sing these songs on stage to earn their living ...good lyricist never had the problem ,,, today lyricst dont even write a good song so royalty for them is okay and royalty for singers gets him frustrated

Amal have blamed the whole craft of singer to be autotuned , what about those who never used autotuned from kumar sanu to sonu nigam or shaan , udit narayan to alka yangik to anuradha to sadhna sargam they never needed autotuner so its again music directors fault that they have made non singers shining star of current music its them who deteriorated playback singing craft from good one to mediocre , name any music director who took a stand for quality of singers bollywood have prodcued in last 10 years many of them are mediocre who can not sing to save their live just got popular because of their tuned studio vocals , music directors themselves are responsible for the current craft of playback singers who are incompetent to sing live in sur
