One of the biggest revelations from the interview was Pooja opening up about why she turned down Aashiqui, a film that went on to become a massive success. While discussing that period of her life, she revealed that her then boyfriend was not particularly happy with her continuing as an actor, which played a role in her decision.

“My boyfriend at that time, who is still one of my bestfriends, was not too happy with me continuing to be an actor. He never said, ‘You will not do this.’ But I figured it I assumed that it would be better if I don’t.”

The conversation then moved towards Bobby Deol, with Lalwani asking if the boyfriend she was referring to was the actor. Pooja was quick to clarify that Bobby entered her life much later.

“No No, Bobby Deol happened much later. I met Bobby Deol much later in my life.”

The interviewer then remarked, “And fell in love with him,” prompting a candid response from Pooja.

“Ofcourse, what’s not to fall in love with?,” Pooja said, seemingly acknowledging the relationship while also complimenting the actor.
