Koimoi's box office prediction for upcoming releases

With releases like Padmaavat, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Raid, PadMan and many more, filmmakers enthralled the audience while having a successful run at the box office. Till now, with just a little over a quarter, the major movies have raked in more than 900 crores.

With many more anticipated films coming this year, it will be interesting to see how they will fare in terms collections. So here are our predictions about some of the biggest releases this year:

Raazi 60 crores

The Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal starrer espionage thriller has got fans hyped up. The film is based Harinder Sikka's novel Calling Sehmat.

While not much has been confirmed about the film aside from the cast, it has managed to generate a lot of hype, as it is based on one the most controversial people in Bollywood ie Sanjay Dutt.

Batti Gul Meter Chalu 70 crores

With his previous directorial Toilet: Ek Prem Kathabecoming a success, expectations are high for Shri Narayan Singh's upcoming film starring Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam.
