Hi All!!!

I am a new member but I do visit if regularly. I just love this serial and I am big fan of Harshad Chopda.. Boy this forum is also very active.. Off late joined FB grps of Bepannaah.. To my dismay I am seeing requests to watch BP on TV otherwise Colors is going to show everyone the door. Members are giving references to Harshjen going live and prompting viewers to watch their show on TV as trp matters. Is the situation do bad that we can't enjoy episodes in peace. At the launch party it was mentioned that the story line is ready for a year.. So obviously the production house has askef for a year.. What are ur thoughts... I waited so long for Harshad to come back on screen.. I just love all his shows.. Always wished to see him on screen forever!!

Even i dont get it... Bepannah is not even a month old but trps are already such an issue whereas there are many shows on colors that have very low trp but are still running like kasam and dil se dil tak to name a few. When such shows can run on colors then bepannah has pretty decent trps comparatively so why is the star cast so tensed about the show?

bepanah air on prime time and they have expectations from the show so trp is a concern moreover 0.2 or 0.3 decrease in trp is ok but in two weeks the trp decreased by 0.9

i dont know why only tv trp's are considered in the digital age.. colors doesnt even allow website access to other countries.. there are so many people like me who watch it on other streaming websites.. instead of whining over poor trp's they should up their game by changing the method to calculate TRP

Exactly the TRP system should ideally be largely irrelevant in today's time. It has been a plague for Indian television. But India has been largely lagging behind in digitisation. Even though the market is evolving, demand for good quality shows still isn't that strong. Indian audience still views TV as idiot box which is not meant to be taken seriously, and hence doesn't want to pay exorbitant amount to view quality shows. So the subscriber push is not that strong while advertisement push is too strong.

But I think slowly but surely we will get there. The large untapped urban market is growing at a rapid pace and subscriber push should rapidly increase.

This eventual downfall in trp is due to draggy storyline since two weeks as no progress except friday s epi.. where a bit was revelaed about pooja yashh
