Whereas Avni has been an expert, not even once she could make Neil feel that she probably still loves him though isn't expressing it.

Though, even after seeing him so worried for her even due to just a prick in her finger, Avni too is feeling now that Neil doesn't love her just because he isn't stopping her or listening to her...but that's her another tubelight-giri, Neil isn't at a fault that she doesn't feel his love😆

Avni isn't showing that she doesn't need him, she did go to talk to him about Saesha. Whereas Neil is on a trip of "I hate her" but he can't hide his love. And Avni shows she "needs" him but hides her love very well. Ek baar Neil bol de ruk jao, n she'll give up...though she may not express her love anytime soon.

So yeah, Avni is an expert in hiding the feelings and Neil is only hell bent on proving that he doesn't need her.

Neil is not hiding, genuinely the intensity of his love died by half, its Avni who needs to pull up her socks. The remaining 50% love makes his presentation confused about his inner turmoil.

He feels betrayed, making matters worse Avni is NOT even trying.
