Raman was crying hugging ishita tight while ishita was just trying hard to console him.
Ishita -raman, Raman,Aap please mat roiye. See I am alright. She was saying trying to console Raman but he was nowhere listening to her. He broke the hug and said -tumhe itne din se hosh nahi aa raha tha, doctor itne injection lagaa rahe the, still u r not getting fine. I was very scared because of it. Tumhe pata hai Main kitna darr gaya tha, I wasn't able to even breath properly. Main saans bhi nahi le paa raha tha, I was feeling suffocated without u. Tumhe itni takleef mein dekh kar dekh kar, I was just dying every minute, every second. He was crying and saying in between the hiccups. She was trying hard to console him but he was just not listening. Seeing him stopping nowhere, ishita wrapped her little armd around him and hugged him tight. She start caressing his hair trying to console him while he was just crying.
After much time,he finally stopped sobbing. Both were sitting hugging each other tight, Ishita's head was on his chest and his arms were all around her holding her protectively. Seeing them silent their parents walked to Ishra and amma said -ishu kanna.
Ishra broke the hug hearing her voice and Raman move aside giving all chance to meet ishita. Amma sat next to ishita and hugged her tight. She too cried telling ishita how scared she was, after her appa too hugged ishita .he lovingly caressed ishita's hair and pecked her temple. After them, Mr and Mrs bhalla too meet ishita.
After everyone met her, nurse came inside and said -itni bheed kyun hai yahan par. Only one is allowed at a time with the patient. Aap sab baahar jaaiye. Let patient rest.
Amma -we all r going, hum sab baahar hi rahenge. She said to which nurse nodded and gave ishita medicine. Ishita had it and nurse said -ab tum rest Karo, u r not fully fine. Jyada baat karogi toh problem hogi. She said to which ishita nodded.
Amma sat next to ishita and start patting her and very soon she slept. Amma kissed ishita's temple and caressed her face.
Amma -chalo ab sab baahar chalte hai.
Everyone nodded and was going out when Raman said -amma, can I stay here for a while.
Amma-but kanna, nurse told us, she was saying when Raman said -main thodi der mein aa jaaunga, please amma. He pleaded to which everyone nodded giving him permission.
Soon all went out while Raman sat next to ishita. He softly caressed her hair and took her hand in his. He kissed her hand slowly and said -u remember how we met for the first time. I saved u from the car and then u saved me from the darkness I was living within. Bahut kam samay mein mere dil ke bahut kareeb aa chuki ho tum. Tumse dur hone ka gham sahne ki taaqat mahi hai mujhme, gudiya. Please aise dobara kabhi mat Karna. Main mar jaaunga but tumhare bina nahi reh paaunga. He said keeping his head on her hand.
He sat there keeping his head on her hand feeling her heartbeat and then got up from his place. He bend and pecked her temple and said stroking her hair -bahut pyaar karta hoon tumse, actually khud nahi jaanta ki tumhare liye kya aur kitna feel karta hoon but jitna bhi feel karta hoon, bas tumhare liye karta hoon. I love u, I love u alot gudiya. He said and pecked her temple again. He stood there for sometime just watching her sleeping peacefully and then turn to go. But couldn't go again, he turned again and came back to her. Sit next to her and then lay down next to her. Wrapped her in his arms and hugged her tight, kissed her temple again and again, stayed there for a while trying hard to make himself believe that ishita is now fine.
After almost fifteen minutes, he went out leaving ishita sleeping peacefully. He look around and couldn't see their parents. He asked to the nurse about their parents and got to know that they went to meet the doctor. He too went into his cabin and saw their parents sitting with the doctor. All were sitting with a serious face.
Everyone was waiting for the doctor to say something when the doctor finally said -i want to talk something very urgent.
Appa -kya baat hai doctor sahab, everything is fine naa. ishu thik hai naa.
Doctor was about to say something when he saw Raman standing at the door and said -yeh bachcha, isse bahar bhej dijiye.
Raman heard this and said coming inside -main Kahin nahi jaane wala. If something is wrong with my gudiya. I will hear it. Boliye, what's the problem.
Doctor look at appa and he nodded to go ahead.
Doc -see the problem is ki ishita's fallopian tube got blocked due to stomach tuberculosis , though we r treating her but it can happen that ur daughter can never become a mother. He said making everyone shocked.
Amma -yeh kya keh rahen hai, mere ishu kanna kabhi maa nahi ban payegi. She said and start crying.
Doc -dekhiye Mrs iyer, it's just a possibility. Main hundred percent surety ke saath yeh baat nahi keh sakta but sach yahin hai ki future mein aapki beti ke conceive karne ke chances bahut kam hai. Hi sakta hai woh maa ban jaaye but chances r very low. He said making all worried.
Appa -yeh kya keh rahe hai doctor, Iska koi toh illaaj hoga. Abhi kitni choti hai meri bachchi, iss tarah se Itni badi news. Meri bachchi ki toh zobdagi hi kharab ho jayegi.
Doc -dekhiye ,aap log worried mat hoiye, ho sakta hai aisa naa ho but ho bhi sakta hai. U r understanding naa what I meant to say, chances of her conceiving is very less.but woh conceive kar bhi sakti hai. He was saying when Raman said -jab Aap khud hi sure nahi hai, toh Aap aisi baatein bol hi kyun rahen hai jisse sab pareshan ho.
Mr bhalla -raman, tum chup raho. Yeh sab baatein tumhare samajh ki nahi hai.
Doc -exactly, u r very small for all this. Dekho beta, yeh baatein ishita ke parent ko jaanna bahut jaruri hai. Agar inki beti conceive nahi kar payegi toh yeh bahut badi problem hai. Woh kabhi maa nahi ban payegi, woh banjh rahegi. He was saying when Raman said -pehli baar, toh main bachcha nahi hoon. Bhalla group of companies ka MD hoon, Raman Kumar bhalla. Aur dusri baat, meri gudiya koi banjh wanjh nahi hone wali. She is perfectly fine, usse aisi koi problem nahi hone wali. Aur teesri aur sabse important baat, ishita meri hone wali biwi hai toh woh conceive kar payegi yaa nahi kar payegi, yeh meri problem aur concern hona chahiye naa ki kisi aur ka.and now I am just concerned about her health nothing else. Toh Aap mujhe bas itna bataiye ki aap meri ishita ko thik kar payenge yaa nahi, yaa main usse Kahin aur le jaun. Yeh kai saalon ke baad joh hone wala hai uske liye aaj pareshan mat hoiye. Just tell me when u will discharge her and when I can take her home. He said with a stern face making everyone shocked.
Yes all knew that raman had become much matured and he has love and affection for ishita but everyone was shocked knowing he is thinking ishita as his would be wife and is more concerned about her health then her infertility problem.
Doctor who was just looking at Raman heard raman saying again -answer me doctor, will u able to treat her or should I take her somewhere else.
Doc -she will be fine soon.
Raman -good, them concentrate on her treatment, uska result kya hoga uska baare mein abhi mat sochiye. Aage kya hoga uska liye kisi ko pareshan hone ki zarurat nahi, kyunki joh hona hoga usse koi nahi badal sakta, but uske liye abhi se pareshan hona bewakoofi hai. Abhi hamara prime concern yeh hona chahiye ki ishita jaldi thik ho kar ghar aa jaaye. Aur Iske liye joh bhi zaruri hoga main karunga aur har kisi se karwaunga ,got it. He said to which doctor nodded.
Raman -good, I am going to Ishita's room. Aap sab bhi aa jaiye, agar aana chahe but koi iss baare mein baat nahi karega aur ishita ko toh bilkuo nahi batayega. I don't want her to take any kind of stress. Woh bimaar hai aur uska thik hona sabse jyada zaruri hai. He said and went out of the room while everyone was just looking at him.
Doc -yeh kaun hai??
Toshiji -pehle mera beta tha, ab ishita ki raman ho gaya hai. And i am proud of him. Uska pyaar inn sab baaton ka mohtaaz nahi. She said smiling making everyone smile seeing Raman's love for ishita.
