May be this was a part of plan.
Now it is almost clear that it is Dadi who sent those boys to get Sameer. She knew where Sameer will be at that time. And she and her son made sure Sameer on the bike when they come. I don't think Bobby is so nice to buy Sameer a new bike who just spent his school money for Ahmedabad ticket.
