I saw the Hemant ke shaadi wala video too and was puzzled at the lack of women. It reminds me of my cousin's daughter who married a guy from Bihar and no women from his family came to the wedding. My cousin had to literally beg them to bring at least the boy's sister, since the wedding was in South Indian style and the sis-in-law has an important role to play. It was strange to me, but maybe the Brijwasi clan belongs to a similar group of people? It's hard for me to accept women being sidelined. It's as though the Brijwasi family only comprises of the father and the 4 sons. No mention of any of the women are made. For that matter, has Zaid's mom been mentioned? I miss the backstories of most of the contestants since I forward all those bits.ETA: Saw the video you posted, PJyo and another one which was titled Master Saleem singing at Hemant's wedding. Thanks for pointing out the spinning stage at 4:00- I could forward straight to that and didn't have to watch all of it! 😃 I did see some women literally standing in the sidelines at the beginning of the video😲. No women with direct view of the stage though - only men.Who was the lady in a pink saree throwing money at Master Saleem (was all that real money?? 😲) and then did she touch Hemant's feet? 😲😲. Was that the wife? Regressive and misogynistic culture! 👎🏼
yeah ,without sister who will tie the thaalimala😆..
There were some women in the beginning when the dulhan came towards spinning stage🤪,reminded me of rishi kapoor singing 'om shanti om' on the revolving hmv disc in the movie karz😆..Yes ,thats hemants mom,i don't think she touched his feet...maybe picked up some fallen notes to give to the boy who was collecting them,🤔i think they collect these notes ,nazar utharo of dulha and donate it..This is how rural north india is🤔,male dominated ,women in ghunghat--colors gives lipservice by saying 'uthaao soch ki deewar ' but keeps showing only dad and boys..Hope they welcome the mom and maybe bring hemants wife too-😉he could learn some romantic songs from rohan 😆

😆 😆 Rishi Kapoor singing Om Shanti Om!! 😆😆Oh was that the mom? Yes, I have to agree.. Rural North India is still stuck on these regressive, misogynistic customs, but Brijwasis are from Mathura which is definitely not rural 😕!Wait- what was the Colors promo about "Uthao soch ki deewar"? I don't think I saw that.Romantic songs from Rohan-- yeah. I can't help but feel Rohan is catering to the image that the show and channel have created for him, that of a heartthrob. Btw, that video with middle-aged housewives professing their "love" for Rohanpreet was so cringeworthy - I was creeped out! It's pedophilia, imo!! 😲😲 Rohan must be hardly 19-20, no?
Yes 21 is the legal age for men but I have seen many 17 -18 years old boys getting married.

There is literally no woman to see in this video (except the bride) ... what kind of wedding is this??? 😲
Ironically they say "Radhe Radhe" 😕Very disappointed, I actually liked them to be honest ... I still hope they are not like this and we are just wrong.
