After presenting the Hindi version of SS Rajamouli's blockbusters, the Baahubali films, Karan Johar and AA Films have now collaborated to present the supremely talented Madhuri Dixit's debut Marathi film. Bucket List is slated to release on May 25, 2018. Directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, Bucket List is a story of every woman, who has unfulfilled dreams in life. The sensitive film will take you through a journey of self-discovery.
Excited about this interesting collaboration, Karan Johar says, "I've been a staunch believer in regional cinema and since Baahubali, I am confident that good cinema, with a great platform, breaks the barrier of language. Madhuri, who will soon start shooting for Karan's next production directed by Abhishek Varman, is elated about the filmmaker backing her debut Marathi film. "I was longing to work in a Marathi film and with Bucket List my wish is fulfilled. Marathi films are content-driven and are arousing interest world over. There couldn't be a better birthday month gift for me than Karan presenting my debut Marathi film this summer. Like my millions of fans, I am truly excited and am looking forward to sharing my experience with everyone, beams Madhuri. Interestingly, the actress had also appeared in the special song, Ghagra, in Dharma Productions' Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013), directed by Ayan Mukerji.
