I know ITV makes a fool of audience with regressive tracks in supposedly progressive shows and AKAJS is no different. Progressive content, love story of young man and a much older woman with a teen age daughter, pulled me to watch the show. But regressive content is putting me off, the so called forced marriage, that is not even a marriage by any yardstick. This whole concept of forced marriage could only happen in an ITV show. I have never ever seen such a marriage happen in real life! This is totally an ITV territory. Btw, dont the pundit read out the persons name during the marriage? I am not sure if this happens... Leagally this marriage is Null and Void viz. there is no need for divorce and action can be taken against all the perpetrators including Vedika! There is a laywer present in the marriage, who seems to have no clue about the legal process. How much more dumb can this track be in the name of drama???Now coming to Vedika, how could a 42 year old try to trick and force another person and continue to justify the stance even when Sahil totally abhors this marraige? Is consent not important? I liked the Sindoor and the scene with Varun where Sahil drives across the point of his consent. When Sahil tries to force Vedika she is so darned upset. But, given the same scenario everyone expects Sahil to give in and live a life? Why should Nidhi even be portrayed as negative, so that Vedika again becomes Mahan and can take Sahil back? I am thoroughly disappointed with this track on the whole.Ok, lets say there were pressing reasons for Vedika to force Sahil into the marriage. But what business does she have to continue doing it by keeping her at her home and trying to dump Nidhi on Sahil? There is a limit to interference in ones life and Vedika's levels seems to have hit a new limit! They have also pulled down Vedika's character to a new low with this track. The lady is a teacher, believes in being truthful, but lies to Sahil and leads him on into a forced marriage and makes decisions for him. Technically, what right does she have on Sahil to foster such a decision on him. Is this not the same woman who refused to get married at the altar becasue her heart was not for it? Even before she knew about Gautams true colors. So whats good for the goose is not good for the gander?I know those who have been watching ITV for long, feel that this track will bring in a lot of intense emotions and romance. But somehow, romance at the cost of logic and blind to reason is not what lured us to this show. A track that is based on hogwash and makes Vedika behave out of character feels totally upseting specifically because this team is par excellence. With this track they seem to have joined the ITV bandwagon of mediocrity. The only saving grace is the lead actors and the chemistry. But if Vedika continues to not confront her mistake, we would only see more people getting put off by the show. The cvs need to make up their mind if the show and Vedika is progressive or regressive. If she is progressive, just the pheres alone do not make a marriage! When Sahil is dead against the relationship and if she really cares about him, then she should find a way to get him out of this marriage and not continue to push him towards an ill conceived, deceitfulmarriage. If not, this is just another regressive show dished out by ITV and Bodhi Tree!!

@peeyu @seejal same for me yaar... Don't see any point in continuing this show if there CVS are hell-bent with this Nidhi track.
Vedikas decisions are even more distressing.

I just had a chat with amit Bhanushali (karan) and he told he is not aware mch about the story line ahead since his track is not there as of now ...he told if vedika accepts sahils love then there is not much to offer in story and hence the drag will b Der 😕

I am ok with her not accepting the love. But this forced marriage is not helping at all. I am sure the CVS can figure something that can get Nidhi out of this story. Right now she is the biggest put off.
Will wait for the trp to go down... That makes ppl take quick decisions than any number of protests from us.
hahahahaha at the age of 50 lol 😆 😆 😆 marriage not gonna happan we are dreaming abou baby lol
Hahaha... It means the drag will be there... Vedika will realize her feelings for sahil by the time she reaches 50.😉. Why should sahil even consider marriage with her at that age😆😆If there's not much to offer in terms of story post sadika marriage, does it mean the makers didn't have a specific plot for their show?...Suhasi during the launch of show told she was more attracted to the show bcos of complications the couple have to face post wedding... Guess they are completely out of track nowBut still have faith in the makers... They can weave magic... Donno what lies in store
