Sorry for being late guys. I have been really busy so much so that I have missed the show for two weeks now 😭. And coming two months will no better 😔. Next update will only come in June hopefully. I'm sorry guys. But I will surely finish the story 😃. Enjoy reading and forgive the typos. Had no time for proof reading.
SHOT 2 "Bai Amma!" Sahil shouted while entering the Aggrawal House. "Hum eihaan hain (I'm here.)" Badi Abba said who was sitting on sofa cracking some nuts. "Badi Amma." Sahi said and sat near her feet and kept aside the nutcracker and kept his head in her lap. "Ka baat hai. Humpe bada pyaar aa raha (what happened? You're showing a lot of affection.)" Badi Amma said caressing his hair. "I'm sorry." Sahil said in a low tone. "Hein? Sorry kis liye?" She asked. "Don't ask that. Bas rakh lijiye." Sahil said closing his eyes. Badi Amma checked his forehead. "What are you doing?" Sahil asked looking at her. "Hum check kar rahe kahin tumko bukhaar toh nahi yaa kahin maathe pe chot toh nahi aayi hai. (I'm checking if you have fever or if you have got hurt on your head.)" Badi Amma chuckled. "Badi Amma." Sahil whined.
The rise of the sun above the horizon every single day marks that it is a new start, a new beginning, a new life, live the fullest because kya pata kal ho na ho. Sahil was in the classroom before anyone came. He wanted to meet that one lady who managed to leave a lasting impact so much that he was not late for his lecture for the first time in forever but seemed like he was being tested by that Supreme being. Her lecture was shifted in the afternoon after lunch break And he had to attend the most boring class that everyone dread of...the humanities. He almost dozed off before the professor narrowed her eyes at her students who were happy in their dreamworld. But like it is said, "This too shall pass," the class was over and everyone rushed out even before professor bound up.
Sahil was in caf. His day was already bad. Playing with his food he was staring into nothingness with a wilted face when Karan and Nidhi sat beside him. He was still busy in doing nothing. "Isko kya hua? (What happened to him?)" Nidhi said looked at Karan who was also as oblivious as her. "Sahil." He shook him. "Hmm. Haan. When did you both come?" Sahil asked straightening up. "Since last six minutes." Nidhi said looking at her watch. "Tu bata. We heard that you attended Humanities class. Like seriously?" Karan said chuckling. "Hass le beta. Tera bhi din ayega. (Yeah laugh dude. You'll also have your day.)" Sahil said straightening his collar and slouching back on the chair.
"Haan Arya don't worry. I'll bring you pair of Ghungru for your dance classes. Haan baba I promise." Vedika said before sliding off the phone in her bag and moved inside the caf. She saw Sahil and his friends talking and she moved towards them. "Oh thank God I found you guys here otherwise I would have to search for you in the entire campus. She said sitting beside Nidhi. There was someone's face that instantly lit up. "Ma'am you here?" Nidhi said awkwardly. "Haan. Arre yaar. Toh kya hua if I'm your professor I can still behave like you guys. Haan mana thodi age zyda hai from you guys but vo kehte hain na "A person can be old at the age of 17 and be young at the age of 90." Vedika smiled. "Yeah Ma'am. Just ignore her. Tell kya hua. You had some work?" Sahil asked. Vedika looked at Sahil. "Yeah. Actually. Like you all know we have a cultural fest in the college in two months and literature department has decided to showcase a play on Shakespeare's drama. ( Naah. Not Romeo And Juliet. That will be cheesy 😆) I have decided to put it on 'Much Ado About Nothing' but with a twist. We'll change few things about it while keeping the same characters. I discussed it with few students and they suggested that you all be best suited for main roles. So, will you do it?" Vedika told. "Of course Ma'am. Haina Karan and Nidhi? We'll do it Ma'am." Sahil said almost as soon as she finished explaining. "Good. We'll discuss further after the class about your roles and about the plot. See ya till then. Enjoy your lunch. Thank you." Vedika said and left. Sahil looked at her retreating form animatedly.
