But there was one moment where Hemant was praising his father and Rekha when she started talking to him, she instead started self praising herself that she has so many fans and blah..

Not only she had fun but she shared so much love for all the contestants and judges. She was very emotional at times. Genuine episode though she talked way too much at times and no one could stop her for time constrains. The guy who talks way too much and loud had to zip as rekha was talking. I enjoyed Rekha a lot :)

Yes that could be editing or self promoting I agree.

Same happened with Mamta Rao who wanted to learn adaayen and nazakat from rekha and rekha called vishnumaya and spent most time talking and praising VM.

Rekha wanted to hear Hemant sing as she wasn't going to be there on the next episode but show brought those 2 brothers along with Hemant. Their gayakis are so different. I choose Hemant over the brothers any time.

Most likely editing ka funda I bet.
