The scenario in Kollywood is changing very fast. Especially for the big films. We keep on hearing lot of news on the films like 'Kuselan', 'Robot', and 'Egan'. Last week there was a sensation regarding Aishwarya's role in 'Robot' and Rajinikanth's role in 'Kuselan'. Now it is the turn of Ajith's 'Egan'.

Earlier, it was said that the Bollywood beauty Katrikna Kaif would act opposite Ajith in 'Egan'. It was also said that the girl would be paid one crore rupees. Now it is almost certain that Katrina would not be a part of 'Egan', directed by Raju Sundaram.

Katrina has reportedly said that since she would like to concentrate more on Bollywood, she could not come to Kollywood at present. She has been booked for two Hindi films recently for a whooping amount of Rs. six crores. She is also tipped to act opposite John Abraham in Kabhir Khan's movie, produced by Yash Raj films.

Katrina's withdrawal has left the 'Egan' unit searching for the heroine. Shriya Saran has shown interest in acting with Ajith but Ajith is said to be dissatisfied with her appearance for an item number in 'Indiralogathil Na Azhagappan'. Will Ajith reconsider his position towards Shriya?
