Salman Khan worked with actor Pooja Dadwal in the film Veergati. She is admitted to a hospital as she is battling with Tuberculosis. Pooja has asked for financial help from Salman Khan.

Salman Khan and Pooja Dadwal worked together in the film Veergati (1995). Pooja has been hospitalized as she is battling Tuberculosis and she has asked for financial help from Salman Khan.

As reported by a leading daily, Pooja Dadlani is admitted to a hospital in Mumbai from last 15 days. However, she has no money for her treatment.

Pooja said that she tried to contact Salman Khan, however, nothing has worked as of now.

She told the daily, "I learned 6 months ago that I had something as serious as TB. I tried to contact Salman Khan for help, but nothing has been done so far. If he looks at my video then maybe he will try to offer some help. I have been admitted to this hospital for the last 15 days. I have been doing casino management in Goa for the last several years. I have no money at all, I depend on others for even a cup of tea."

A source also informed the daily that Pooja Dadlani's in-laws including her husband have abandoned her after she was diagnosed with Tuberculosis.

Apart from Veergati, Pooja Dadlani was also seen in the films Hindustan, Inteqaam and Dabdaba.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan is busy with Race 3. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and Bobby Deol in vital roles. The posters for the films were released recently. Race 3 will hit the theatre during Eid 2018.

Salman Khan also has Bharat and Dabangg 3 lined up.

Yeah its pretty sad and hopefully Salman does help her yet I feel this isn't his responsibility but collectively Bollywood should do more. They can easily set up a trust fund or some welfare scheme to help their peers in need. It can be some sort of employment insurance. Instead of censoring stupid movies or protesting over things this is a real issue. Put up some kind of tax and use it for this welfare scheme. Go after tax defaulters like the Bacchans

Isn't tuberculosis easily treatable? Ya bahot der se diagnose hua..

Yes and treatment is free in India as far as I know

No idea about drug resistant TB

That's horrible but that's why it is very important to be financially independent in a relationship if needed. You never know...marriages don't always work out.

I donno what TB she has , but Government has made medicine extremely chearp.

Esp Jan Aushadhi Kendra they give free medicines

And she is not a begger , she was working earlier. Why does she want money from Salman Khan ?

And TB treatment is seriously cheap.

In the last few months, even Heart stent price has been reduced to 18000 which earlier cost around 200000 rs.

I read somewhere she used to work in a casino but lost all her savings. This happens to lot of celebrities they are particularly bad with their finances and have to keep up with the celeb life so it takes its toll. That's why it's very important to invest when the going is good and have some good financial advisors to help with your portfolio.
