According to a source, Shahid has apparently signed a three-film deal with the production house who is making Batti Gul Meter Chalu. The source added when the production house considered making the remake of Woh Kaun Thi, Shahid's name came up to essay the part of Manoj Kumar. A source close to the production house revealed that the makers of the film are keen on casting Aishwarya Rai Bachchan opposite Shahid in the film. Aishwarya's is being considered to essay the role that Sadhana portrayed in the original film.
