Doesnt matter how good Ash looks for her age...the truth is she is a total misfit both in terms of age as well as acting skills that was required for the role in the original. In addition to that Shahid or Ash have almost nil BO pull and even imagining them as a pair is unfathomable. Not every man can look good with an older woman and Shahid isnt one of those men.

Lets also not forget rumors about KriArj's financial status. IF and its a big IF this film goes on floors and actually gets made then I am guessing Ash and Shahid are pooling in the money as I cant imagine any sane producer going for this kind of casting under any other circumstances.

Going by the description of the role, it is right up Aishwarya's alley. So I'd have to disagree on that. Although yeah, I have not seen the film, and Sadhana was 23 when she did the film, and Ash would be 45 when the movie goes on floors, so probably they will make her a 30 year old woman or something.

As far as BO pull is concerned, who really has BO pull barring Khans, Akshay and a couple of other male actors? The rest also gotta work, right?

As far as the pairing goes, I remember you mocking Ranbir Ash pair as well, but it was well-received.

I don't really buy rumours of KriArj's financial status, they wouldn't be announcing films like this. Yes, they are new to the business so they may have not been well versed with financing films. But I wouldn't think they would simply make empty announcements if they don't intend to get them on floors. Also, EaseMyTrip is co-producing the film, so it's not just KriArj.

The only thing that I find strange is there seems to be a million KriArj films that Ash is suposedly doign?

- Raat Aur Din

- Woh Kaun Thi

- Jasmin

- There was a mention of another thriller, maybe it was one of the above.

Wow. I would love to watch this film. Aishwarya is once in a lifetime kind of personality and I wanted her to play lead heroine love interest not just character role types.
