OK! I am convinced with this fact, back in India, but in today's world all I believe in game of being competitive, standing ahead of crowd and possesing the X factor.in seeking jobs or growing in a job..if one is skilled job oppurtunities will be falling like leaves in fall season...

Well after hearing to and learning from friends from other fields of professionalism...it was clear still thing go the old way...if you have influence ...one can get a job and make it big..forget the skill..it can be learnt on job...

Am like confused... do you think in today's world recommendations/backing is more important then actual potential or capability of person to get a job or get a promotion?

Not all the times...but..most of the times..having a GOD FATHER or GOD Mother does help😊...

Getting right help from right person in the right point of the career in the right time does really help😛

I hate to admit it, but yes, knowing the right people will get you the job every time. Good grades, a good resume, an elite university can only get you so far...beyond that, it's the recommendation and the backing of a reputable person in the industry that actually gets you the job. Even at graduate level in a university, it's not so important what skills you acquired during your degree, it is more important WHO you worked under. And ofcourse, personality has a lot to do with it...if they like you, regardless of your skills, you'll get the job...that's what on job training was created for. Sad but true.

I know sad but true...initial stage of career someone close never helped me, even tho he could have for a reason...past few years and I understand why and 👏 to him...

But yeah if one is focusesd and has right sense to express one's potential then there is no stopping. Once has to learn more then jsut improving on skills...

Thanks Myth for response..

I dont think recommendations or backing important....if you have talent n capacity to show your ideas n outputs...sure theres a chance to get better position or promotion.😳In IT sector, I dont think godfather have much role...now a days big companies like Infosys,Wipro, tata,Ibm etc doing direct recruitments from collages itself.

Experiance make people professionals.........so nothing bad initial stages if someone have godfather to help.😳
