Even though story is mainly in Annika's pov, it is all about shivay.. Somewhere we lost her journey to meet him half way.. But still for me her individual journey was/is about overcoming her insecurities, or finding a stable home and loving family.. Usually when people say why Annika is not working or why is she staying at home she was shown independent and all, I am like that girl has worked all her life and struggled all her life.. Now for God sake let her breathe.. I only had problem about her not doing anything when she was in shivika mansion.. (and I have my reasons for that but that is not the point, I know I am rambling)
So about shivay's colors
1.she has become somewhat bolder and more open about physical intimacy, and I don't think it's because SR hogaya and all, I feel it is because she is slowly overcoming her insecurities..
2.she used to say sahil is her weakness because she loves him and later she added shivay to that list as well but now I don't think she considers shivay as weakness anymore..
3.she was too wild and she sometimes used to talk without thinking, like billu ki pant phat gayi incident.. But now she is not like that.. Apart from some incidents she now thinks before she acts.. She shares only the things she should, not the oversharing type she was before..
4.she at the same time is more childish with shivay, but mature when she has to be.. Not because of life lessons because she is ASSO.. Annika before separation would have questioned shivay but not outright opposed him when it came to the family but now she does that, she fought with shivay for rudra.. She is getting confident day by day about her place in his life and his family.. That for me is journey as well..
5.the way she conducted herself in press conference during Tanya track is another example of shivays influence too.. And also she is more rational now, remember how she left the house after listening and misunderstand billu (kulgotra Pooja) but she didn't leave during Tanya track.. Yes the situations are different but she was more rational during Tanya track..
Yes she still has a long way to go.. What I want is that she becomes the ASSO in front of everyone, but preserve her Annikaness inside her..only for her and billu (kya Kare I am possesive like that😉) and even though many of her insecurities have faded there are still some and I would be surprised if not because it was rooted for almost 20 years, it will take time and it will take repeated assurance (yes shivay has assured her many times and she completely trusts him but it's not about trust it is about deep rooted fears so it should take time.. But
I want her volunteerly share her past and I think she will do that when situation calls for it...

And yes their characters are totally different but I feel their values or their essence is too similar.. So since shivay had too many hurdles to overcome it seems like he traveled alot.. (Yes to some extent..) Annika had less hurdles, actually to be precise only 1..toh it seems less.. And also Tanya track was the last proper shivika track we got, after that everything seems like family one so there is no proper concentration on Individual growth.. (I can rant on and on but I will stop here but no promises I can add more too😆)
