But what would hyar gain by turning Teju against Suraj, the worst that would happen is that she'll denounce him and curse him but this won't stop Chakor from contesting the elections.

A blackmailing angle will work better, they can give Chakor an ultimatum: quit the elections or Teju will die.

I don't think Suraj isn't Teju's son, she would've known, in fact if Suraj wasn't KN's son either both KN and Teju or Teju alone knew about it ( the need for a male heir could've been the reason. Still I believe Suraj is a Rajvanshi because it's important that Chakor who started as a Rajvanshi bandhua ends up being a Rajvanshi bahu.

Krupy i agree with you, i to will hate seeing tejaswani turn against sukor and thinking that suraj did anything to harm her. It wont make sense. As far as bhuka go, i dont mind them.get angry at chakor for hiding the truth but they shouldnt doubt her intentions. Hope not.

Mesh yes hyar turning tejaswani wont serve a purpose as compared to the blackmailing angle but the twist seems to be hyped per vo of the promo, it will be interesting if its something out of the box.

I understand the point you made about chakor being rajvanshi bahu.

But after KN died,the Rajvanshi angle got reduced.

Only Sukor and Teju left.

If Teju goes against Sooraj,lmli can file case against Sooraj by using Teju's name that's one possibility.

Chakor has that fear if Hyar trap him in any false cases.

And another thing which will be torture,Imli blackmailing Chakor in the name of Teju and she hiding this from Sooraj and then chances of tensions between them.

Jail is a possibility for Suraj but he has already participated in many serious crimes under hyar's orders. Imli can easily instigate the villagers against him for any of those crimes. If Kumud's body surfaces, it'll be easy to blame Suraj, even Chakor told her parents she was with Suraj.

In the promo, it seemed KN is back to haunt them so Sukor may fall in trouble because of something KN did in the past, maybe he transferred his property in someone else's name or someone will come to take revenge from Suraj because of something KN did like RV in Banaras track.

It wasn't confirmed that the papers were property papers but it's highly likely that Imli has transferred the property to her name, she won't leave haveli anytime soon.

I don't think it's a problem, they'll show her weak for a few episodes and then she'll be back to normal.
