Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety Has Excellent Second Weekend

Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has recorded an excellent second weekend of 18.25 crore nett. The first weekend was 25.83 crore nett which is a drop of just 30%. The total collections of the film in ten days are 62 crore nett

The film has easily out collected the new release Pari and is set for a sustained run and will easily become the highest grossing small film of all time and at the moment the collections look to be going over 90 crore nett. But if the film gets the luck of the run it is not out of the question that the film can become the first small non cast film to hit 100 crore nett.

The collections of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety till date are as follows.

First Week - 43,75,00,000

Friday - 5,50,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 6,25,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 6,50,00,000 apprx

Second Weekend - 18,25,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 62,00,00,000 apprx

per BOI it is already a superhit

budget cannot be 40 for a non-cast movie..

They shot 4-5 expensive music videos + the promotion wasn't lowkey. That was the reason behind the 40 cr budget.
BOI and trade people like to nurture some projects... this is one of them... Sometimes the nurturing helps (Like K&S), sometimes it doesn't (Like Bareily).

BOI considers all films with less than 30 cr as low -budget

They clearly mentioned in their previous article that this film is going to easily cross Aashiqui 3 and Fukrey 2 numbers and become the highest grossing low-budget film of all time.

By the way, this is extraordinary word of mouth and trending. The second weekend numbers are so close to first weekend numbers. I don't think this has ever happened since films of nineties. Audience is really loving this entertaining film.
