Sorry but did you actually watched trailer before watching the movie? This movie was never presented as typical rom com. Trailer itself had the word "ch*tya" atleast 3times, and promos were full of it.
And the trailer and promos projected the movie as who will be more successful in manipulating Titu? Sonu or Sweety.
So I dunno from where you got this typical rom com vibes.
Anyways just to clarify, I am not trying to convince you to change your opinion of the movie.
You didn't liked the movie, and it is absolutely understandable.
