Hello buddies!

Happy Holi!

How are you all?

You might be all waiting for RC but here I'm with something else!

Well this idea crossed my mind yesterday evening when I was in train, after work, after reading a post in Instagram.

And just thought to write a simple story and I'm here with it.

A PIC!

"What are you doing there Sweety?" The man in his earlier 30s asked, standing in front of trees and plants with children playing all around in the park.
The little girl who was in between the bushes hid the small piece of something flat inside her play bag as she replied "Coming Paaa" and hurried to find her father who was looking at her questioningly "I was just following a butterfly Paaa!" She said with her baby eyes filling with tears as that was the reason she went there.
"Okay okay Sweety! Come let's go!" He went and picked her in his hands, as she cooled down.
"Where are we going?"
"To buy a Prince for the princess doll my princess has!" He said in a thinking mode but soon skilled widely as his daughter threw herself on him with her hands wrapped around her neck.
"Love you so much Papa!"
"Love you too dear!" Kissing her forehead.

And as he said he brought a doll for her and made their way to their house.
"One more toy! You are spoiling her Malik!" The lady said as she entered a room.
"It's just a toy Padmini!" The man said as the little girl started to unpack the doll box.
"Now it's a toy! And when she grows up, she will ask for a real"
"If that is what my princess wishes, I will do that too!" He said cutting her.
Shaking her head, the lady came out of the room which turned out to be kitchen with two glasses.
The little girl who was in her own world, played with her dolls not carrying a hoot about anything going around.
"Madhu! Come here!"
"Ahaan Maa!" The little girl screamed as she put her toys in order before getting and nearing her mother who passed a glass full of milk. "Maa I hate milk!" She said but seeing her mother glaring look, she gulped all in one go and closed her mouth to prevent from vomiting.
"Milk is good for health Sweety!"
"But Paaa"
"Go and empty your bag!" Her mother ordered in between the father and daughter discussion.
"Hate you Maaa!" And she stomped inside a room, taking her bag and toys.
"Being 5 and talking like my 15!" Her mother blabbered as she went back to the pitch while the man who was seating on the sofa smiled at how his life is.

Time started to move and years started to pass.

"Maaa! Inform Papa that I took 1000Rs from his pocket! Will be late as today is"
"Last day of the college!" The lady said as she came out of the kitchen "How many times you have said it Madhu!"
"Whenever I feel like!" She replied and winked.
"Sometimes you talk for your age, sometimes more and sometimes less!" Shaking her head "You have finished your post-graduation and going to start working soon. Behave!"
"I'm behaving well!"
"Poor future husband of yours!"
Putting her slippers and adjusting her shawl "I'm sure he is already somewhere in this world, so why bother?" Taking her purse and bag "See you Maa!" She said and excited the house.

Days passed and the special day arrived in her life when she turned into Mrs from Miss. From being her Papa's Princess to her husband's Queen.

"My Princess's papa is always there for here!"
"Love you so much Papa!" She hugged her father and moved towards her mother "Hate you Maa for being the best mother!" And hugged her mother as tightly as possible before she smiled a happily sad smile, getting inside the car.
Waving her hand, with a smile until the images of her parents disappeared from her vision. And the smile got replaced by sadness as tears started to form in her eyes.

"Do you want to get back?" He asked as he put his hand above hers in an assuring way.
"Hmm hmmm" she shook her head negatively.
"They are just few minutes from our home!"
"I know Rishab! It's that I have never left them for more than 24 hours!" Pushing away her tears with the kerchief he passed "Even when I go to school tours, my dad comes there and stays nearby!"
He smiled. Putting her hand in his right, he moved closer to her as his hand went over her shoulder "This is not the woman I first came to meet!" He started as she put her head on his shoulder "Six months back! I thought I was going to marry a jungli bili but I think I ended up with a cute bill!"
"Really?" She asked as she hit his head softly with hers and her nails passed his skin in his arm.
"Owww" he exclaimed as he rubbed his hand after taking it from above her shoulder while pressing his head with hers out of habit, making the driver uncle to smile widely.

"Just feel free!" He said as he took the glass of milk from her hand in one of his while the other one took hold of her hand "Come!" He made her sit. Taking a place near her, he placed the glass on the table nearby "Do you like the place!"
"You are asking as if it's the first time I'm here!"
"The two times you were here was a secret as we weren't married and no one was at home but it's different now."
Taking hold of his right hand in hers as her fingers played with his "I feel the same, as for me you are my husband since the time my father showed me your pic!" She finished with her cheeks turning red.
"Really?"
"Hmmm" she nodded.
"My cute billi!" He said caressing her cheek.
"What this bill billi?"
"Just like that!" Taking the glass from its place, he forwarded it to her.
Looking with raised brows "You drink!"
"We have to share it, so start!"
"You know I hate milk!"
"This is ritual!" He smirked.
"Hate you!" Taking the glass.
"Hate me forever!"

"Hey hai hai half for me!" He whisper screamed seeing her getting it all in one gulp.
"I'm sorry!" She said closing her mouth as she passed the glass which he emptied immediately.
"Take rest! You must be tired!" He got up "Get into your night dress! Your suitcase is on there!" He showed before opening the cupboard "We will set your things tomorrow in here!" He pulled out a simple track pant and tee.
"Won't you help me to get out of all these?"
"It would be my pleasure!" He said as he turned with a 1000 watts smile.
"I'm talking about jewelries!" She said getting up.
"Oh!" His face feel and he acted as if being hurt while he went towards her, making her laugh.
Closing the steps between them, she hugged him "I'm blessed to have this life with my parents, you and my new family!"
"I'm blessed to have you!" As he kissed her forehead. With a mischievous glint in his eyes "if you are okay, I'm still ready to help you in all way!"
Being in his hands, her index finger taping on her chin, with a pout making a cute thinking mode expression, she started "No would be my answer hmmm" and his face looked lost "but as my hubby is lovely! Everything is granted for him!" He looked at her with a 'Are you serious?' Look
She just nodded making him to take action as he lifted her in bridal style within a second.

And the night went smoothly for the couple whose marriage was initially an arranged one but turned out to be a love marriage with time and trust.

"Time to unpack!" he announced as the newly married couple entered their room, the next morning, after their breakfast.
She simply smiled as she went to pull her bag "I will!" he said as he carried it to their bed and put it on the bed and opened it for her.
Set by set, things started to get placed inside the cupboard.
"I think I will open this alone!" she said as she pulled out a small bag from the big suitcase.
"I thought there is no secret between us!"
With her cheeks turning red "No secrets! Just that"
"Okay! Okay! Got it! It's not something I haven't seen!" he said casually pulling her cheeks "Don't make yourself look too cute with these cheeks as I will wish to eat them whenever they take this colour!" he ended with a kiss on her cheek.
She simply smiled shyly.
"At least, I can unpack your other suitcase?"
"Hmm!" she hummed as she got to put her lingerie in the cupboard, in the drawer.

"Piggy bank?" he questioned as he got a box with just less weight from the luggage.
Leaving her work half done, she made her way quickly towards the other side of the bed and pulled the piggy bank from his hand.
"This is something different!" she said.
"Like?"
"I put 1 rupee every time I tell a lie!" she said.
Smiling at her "Since when you are using this?"
"Hmm Since the time I started to talk and understand things around me!"
Getting interested "Shall we count it?"
"Why?"
"Just for fun!" scratching his head "If I had to do this, I think my room wouldn't be enough to put the coins and I think I would be a millionaire by now!"
She laughed hearing him as he also joined her "Promise! I have never lied to you and I will never!"
"Hmm!" and she passed the box to him!
"Code?" he asked seeing the four digit code to unlock it.
"Guess it!" she said as she sat next to him, folding her hand.
He smirked and entered a number and immediately unlocked it "Date plus month!" he said as he turned and emptied the box upside down on the bed.
Seeing a small piece of paper kind of thing, he picked it and turned it to see a photo of a small boy and looked questioningly at her.

She not getting what it can be, got it from him to see the small boy as a smile appeared on her lips as she remembered the day which took place years before.

***** FLASHBACK *****

Putting her toys on her small bed, she made her way towards the corner where toys were gathered in a big box and a cupboard was placed.
Opening her bag, one by one, she got her things out and set the things in their places as the small piece of that something fall on the ground.
Picking it, she turned it to see a pic of a boy in colour with a beautiful smile.
Dusting it, she went towards her shelf and pulled the piggy bank "Today! I lied to my dad for first time! Not lie but lied! You are cute but I can't keep you here as I lied for you! If you are a doll, you would have been the Prince for my Princess doll but you know, my Papa got me one on the way." she smile her cute smile. "My Papa is great, he said he will get me a Prince too when I grow up to my Maa!" putting the pic inside "When he ask for my Prince, I will show him your pic! Until then, stay here!" she talked to the pic which was now inside the piggy bank before putting it back in its place.

***** PRESENT *****

"First love?" he asked laughing at her.
"Not love but it's different!" she said shrugging her shoulder.
Pulling the coins away, he squatted closer to her as he pulled her to himself "I think your father has heard your wish!" and she looked confused.
"How?"

***** FLASHBACK *****

"Papa!" the little boy called.
"Listening!"
"Can you give me a photo of mine? I want to stick it in my diary!"
"But son, there is only 4 in the pocket, we need for your new school."
"Papa! I'm already changing school because of your work and you are not even"
"Okay okay!" pulling out a small pic, he gave his son one "Rishab! You know how to get what you want now itself!" the man told to his young son who looked to be around 8 or 9. "Come! Your mother is waiting since long for us!" and they entered a park where children were all around.

"Help! Help!" they heard screaming of a lady and few people started to run towards there.
"Come!" the man took hold of his son's hand and started to run.
And the little boy whose was eyeing his pic, holding it carelessly, lost his grip on the pic as it flew in the wind while his father pulled him along with him.
"Papa! My photo!" as he tried to stop his father.
"Son! There is someone who is calling for help! I will give you another one!"
"Promise!"
"Promise!"

And they moved from there.

***** PRESENT *****

"You are lying!" she said as all the pieces of the pic set correctly in her head, distancing herself from him, seeing him in his eyes.
"I'm not!" he said smiling ear to ear "This is me!"
"Life is strange!"
"Agree!"
"I have completely forgot about this pic until I saw it now."
"Same!" he said as he got up and went towards the table on his right.

Opening the drawer, he pulled out a diary and opened it to a specific page.
Turning towards her "Here!" he said as he showed a page full of his photos of different ages and all in identity photo size.
"Every year, I take at least one and stick it here since the time we got to this city!" he closed the diary and put it on the bed.
"Oh!"
"What would you have done if it was someone else in my place and he sees this pic?"
Getting up, closing the space between them, putting her hand around his neck "I don't think it would have happened!"
"How can you be so sure?" he asked as he circled his hand around her waist.
"It's your pic!" she simply replied.
"Which is yours forever!" he added.
"And this is our fate!" smiling cutely.
Hugging her tightly "Fate around A Pic!"

THE END!

Princess got her prince finally..
father daughter duo were so adorable..
Rishabh was really caring & loving..
truly said.. they were destined to meet..
You've written the story in such beautiful manner..

Rishbala are destined to be together forever

Madhu had found Rishab's picture when they were kids.

He is truly her Prince her father found for her.

Hai..
Actually I want to ask something..
How you get habitual of using this "Hmm" word?
Just a curiosity!
Mostly no one use it na..
Some use "Mmm.. Umm" type but not "Hmm"
If someone use this "Hmm" word also they use it very rarely..
I just wish to know..

Tried to send PM to you but its showing "user name you have entered is incorrect"
So without any choice asking here..

BTW.. Nice story..
Its simply beautiful.. 😊
