EDT~ep.91~26.2.18 My stance.. Buffer body
One can easily do with someone who can act as a protective shield ,against approaching harms for them. Some buffer person who can absorbs jolts,jerks, shocks that situations can create around a person. Friends, family ,colleagues, set up protection insurance plans, often support and safeguard one's interest. For me in today's episode, key characters have persons who act as barriers for them,against on coming tribulations.
We have Madhvi, who screams loud enough to pull Sharanya back to Bedi house where ever she was? Vyom manipulates her into the whole horror film scenario. He knows his mothers emotionally vulnerable act, will draw upon Sharanya's empathy in leaps and bounds.That Sharanya will totally miss the guile involved. Vyom knows she is gullible and the last thing , a good DIL is likely to do is question her ailing MIL's word. As Madhvi lies, she is evasive, speaks in riddles , beats about the bush, but nevertheless gets hereself a safeguard against Vyom in the shape of Sharanya.
Madhvi through spoken word makes use of her authoritative position, before Sharanya ,but Shiv negates the horror film scenario by exposing Madhvi's lies, when he reports on the invisble truth!
Vyom,now includes his mother in his shady,seedy,secretive misdeeds. He knows full well that his loving mother, eventually will prove to be his buffer, in comparison to his father! His father is likely to betray him,and save himself. While his mother is likely to take the blame for Vyom's dark deeds! The weaknesses of maternal hood. Stragetically Vyom uses Madhvi's infirmity too, as a means to an end.The soup he wants his wife to make is indeed a recipe for, how to engage Sharanya around him,his mother and domestic chores,acclimatize her into a wife's role.he hopes,this way he'll win her love.
The fragrance of yester years, now gives off the lingering rotton odor of Vyom's evasdropping presence. Shiv talks to Sharanya in morse code, what Madhvi acts as, is merely Vyom's mouth piece.In his so to speak absence, his smell lingers as evidence of his hidden presence.. what would Sharanya do without the buffer that Shiv provides for her? Shiv has been sent to her as the ever seeing eye that detects, the impurites floating around..
FB..Sharanya catches Shiv's reference...The well deserved award Sharanya gave Shiv for accepting the role of Ranjha. With the script, she gave him the incentive of a gift.. her rather unbashed declaration of fond affection! Sealed with a scent, which,whenever he wore would remind him he belonged to her! The recepient in return was expected to return Sharanya's gift by his own confession of mutual admiration. Only Shiv had played hard to get..but when he did succumb to her charm, the gift was rudely snatched out of Shiv's hands by Vyom! Shiv and Sharanya recall, Vyom was a snatcher then and even now Vyom remains a grabber! Stealing ,pinching everthing that belonged to Shiv...right to this day! The scent was symbolic of Sharanya.. she wished for Shiv to be sprayed with it ,it was her love! By force Vyom,sprayed the essence of Sharanya upon himself! To Vyom it was a matter of class. Sharanya and himself were in sync. While Shiv's status, failed to bring out the true essence of a priceless gift like Sharanya!
Vyom's, tactic back in the day was always to belittle Shiv. Vyom would always, use his family name status, to buffer himself , into literally buying anything he wanted,even Sharanya's love! Vyom learning curve will be when he realizes that Sharanya's fragrance may linger but not last on him..love cannot be bought..
Vyom uses, simple situations,when Sharanya is busy in other things,and tends to pounce upon her with questions! Moments when she is off guard, unprepared, so she can spontaneously slip out the answers he seeks..but Sharanya too has learned to pay him likewise. Shiv s company has made her more vigilant, and she too has learnt to lie with great panache! Thus when Vyom badgers her with questions where she went?she replies,to see a friend.. which he too, can meet when the time is right!
Vyom, hides in the kitchen cupboard to find out what is happening in the enemy camp? The cupboard is his surveillance and spying tactic..he needs this ,to plan his next counter offensive against his enemy.. so Vyom,Sharanya and Shiv are all in a state of war. Seemingly the Bedi house is seen as a buffer zone, but really it is battlefeild with defined lines of control!
Sharanya keeps her promise, arranges Freddy and Odhni meeting. Moving scene, Odhni comes as a buffer for Freddy.. he bonds with Odhni , while she is devastated by the position he has been reduced to. The scene is necceassary for all of them.. they are an army out to fight the Bedi's! Vyom is constantly relying on signals he picks up! No rest in his tactics. He barges into Freddy's room clearly keeping an eye on Sharanya, but she manages to fob him out of the room as Odhni hides there. So Vyom's opposing army too now use the same,under hand tactics he uses, lies,secrets,spying!
Casual Interrogation ,at least gets, this much out to him that Sharanya plans to go to Kapali hills to pray before the mother goddess. Bitter veiled accusations from Vyom at her, her prayers bode well only for her ,not others! Like the spirit has stopped harming her? Vyom even boldly says, who knows now the spirit instead of harming her ,loves her?desires you?? Sharanya's buffer Shiv, alerts her.. Vyom knows that Shiv is back.. Sharanya decides to sweet talk him to ward off his suspicion.
The final scene is all geared towards Vyom , burning Shiv on the embers of jealousy. His every move, amourous words,suggestions, are pitched at daring Shiv to reveal himself! Shiv too fumes, as Vyom purposely gets tactile and begins to take advantage of Sharanya! Vyom lights candels.. a sure message to Shiv.. he can fume, all this to force him to show himself! As he knows that he is about! Both actors, Vikram and Namik.. brought out the true inferno of two entities ,one human,one spirit, fighting for one girl. For me this saga had one solution.. who does the girl love ?? I guess we know the answer now.. hamlet53.27. 2.18
