In 2012, when i heard Sridevi was returning to films. I joined this forum. I remained a silent user...until the film released. I remember my first topic was about how great her performance in English Vinglish was. After that, I remained excited - she was appearing in public more, magazines, interviews - fashion icon status. She took over. The Queen was back. I remember being so angry for her losing the award to Vidya for Kahaani I created my first bashing topic for Vidya😆 I think i did the same this year when she lost to Vidya again for her incredible performance in Mom.

Before 2012 - Sridevi was my childhood. I became interested in Bollywood because of her. I remember after Judaai, it was announced that she was giving up Bollywood - her void was always missing on screen. Lots of actresses came after her - alot of who i became a fan of as well - Kajol, Karishma, Aishwarya,...I have also enjoyed Rani, Preity's work etc.

But Sridevi is Sridevi and there is no one like her. I dont know what happened to her, but this is the most unfair and cruel thing that has happened. She doesnt deserve this. Shes human, shes made mistakes...but her children needed her. We needed her! I am truly heartbroken and..I joined this forum because of her!...I dont know how her fans will live with this pain.

I want to apologize to all Priyanka, Alia, and Deepika fans. I removed the Alia pic that was in my sig that i used to make fun of ...I will never troll or make fun of any celebrity again. We have all become animals... I am truly moved and disturbed...I dont even know if I can even post again after this topic...Only Sridevi fans will truly understand...this is the WORST thing. I dont wish this on anyone.

I am not related to her, I dont know her personally. BUt her death has deeply hurt me. I keep imaging her daughters and how they must feel. How will they go on? Poor girls were also trolled like crazy...their family is destroyed forever. I dont know what to pray for or what to ask for...Jhanvi and Khushi didnt deserve this...Sridevi didnt deserve this...

Losing your favorite celebrity is tragic!! I am experiencing this pain first time in my life! 😭 😭

I never loved any other celebrity so much. She meant a lot to me. I eagerly awaited her comeback and was also fortunate to experience her reigning years. How I used to get jealous of the fabulous Madhuri winning Filmfares for Beta, HAHK or DTPH! 😆

As much I loved Vidya, Sri going empty handed both years (especially for EV)... didn't sit well with me either. 😆

I was thrilled last year that there were Kangana and Sridevi films releasing. With her gone, all the burden is on Kangana to keep me engaged and happy! 😉

So folks, please continue to cherish your favorites... keep telling how much you love them, open threads, celebrate and celebrate (just be a little gentle with others who don't agree with your prem puja 😃)... kya pata kal ho na ho!

Lastly, my wish to Dear Upparwaley...

Sridevi entertained us for 50 years and you watched. It's fair that you want her to entertain you and the other people up there. Please make sure Yash Chopra directs her too.

Also, please transfer all her talent to Janhvi. 😃

To you, Imagine and all the Sri fans🤗 🤗...sorry for your loss😭

I was not a Sri fan...but loved most of her movies...she was a powerhouse of talent and that is how she will always be remembered..

My heart breaks for her two daughters...I have a young daughter myself...One day in the middle of the night she came running to my room crying...because she had a bad dream that I had died...she was so upset for the next few days ...she kept on crying that mommy what would I do without you...and I wasn't even gone it was just a bad dream...For Sri's daughters I wish it was just a bad dream...but it is not...I hope Sonam, her Mom and the rest of the family are there for the two girls...they are the ones who have suffered the biggest loss...an irreplaceable loss...I hope God gives them strength.😭

Oh SH, I don't know you but this made me cry. I wish strength for all you sridevi fans! She was a very special person, filled with so much talent, yet so humble. She truly was all about her work. My mom has put on english vinglish right now and I'm watching her onscreen and crying. it's still hard to believe she is gone. So much grace, So much beauty, and So much talent. All gone. I can't even imagine how you guys feel, and I can't even begin to wonder about what her family must be feeling about this incredible loss. She will be truly missed for all the coming years! Praying for everyone. Life is so short and it's so fragile.😭😭😭 No matter how much we sometimes hate others, it's important to remember that we are all just humans at the end of the day, with both good and bad qualities, and imperfect as everyone else. I also promised myself to appreciate people when I can, in my life and online, because who knows they are there or not the next day. 😭

Since yesterday morning onwards I am keeping on watching the news, the post related to her to make myself accept that she is gone, that death is the ultimate truth, but I feel like someone kept a stone on my heart, it is so heavy. She is one of my favorite actresses, one who introduced me to Bollywood films, she was the reason I opted serum akiyome as a lullaby for my nephew.

When I saw the pic of Kamal and Sri together, I thought they will do a film together, and again mesmerizes the viewers with their chemistry, after Mom, I thought she will do at least one movie in a year, but she is gone now.

I can't even imagine two teenage girls living their life without a mother figure in the picture, even Sridevi's mother is no more.. They don't deserve this.I really hope they are strong enough to cope up with the situation.
