Hey guys...
Aaj din me khana pakate pakate (yes, proof that I think about Samaina all the time š), I suddenly remembered this one scene from the initial episodes (cross-checked: 27th Sep 2017) - when Naina gets Sameer's number finally n hears his voice. That afternoon, Bela chachi comes n asks her to dial one number for Pooja ka rishta related talks...she says it was the last dialled number- you can get it thru redial...Naina is scared coz redial will ring up Sameer now...but she has to accede n Nanu picks up the phone...Bela n Nanu have a confused talk...n Sameer enters...Nanu hands over the phone to him ki pata nahi kaun hai...Sameer says in English...Hellow (uska stylish wala hello š), This is Kabra Residence...whom do u wanna speak to?
So since then I believed that Sameer's Nanu is a "Kabra" and Sameer still keeps his dad's surname, which should be "Maheshwari".
And now, during wedding episodes, everyone refers to him as Maheshwari ji ka naati...
I guess this was a blooper...I would expect Sameer to keep his dad's name (we don't know the story about his dad anyways) n even in cases of divorce, the child mostly keeps the father's name only na...?
What say guys? Didn't post this to point out the flaws...just something which crossed my mind today š I guess that was a blooper- somewhere the crisp editing n direction of the show is getting lost somewhere...not blaming but can see the difference if u look at the old episodes...
