Lalit Juneja was feeling tired after seeing all the chaos happened in the whole day.
He was also feeling guilty. He was feeling guilty for remaining quite when he saw change in the Gayetri's behavior.
He was feeling guilty because he did not try to change his wife's attitude by talking with her.
He just isolated himself from Gayetri and thought everything would be fine some days.
He was feeling guilty that he failed as head of the family, as the patriarch of the family he should have given more effort to keep his family together.
He could not imagine that, Gayetri would become so much bitter that she would forget every definition of right or wrong.
Lalit realized that her hatred for Heer not only made Heer suffer but also brought pain in his son's life.
As a father, Lalit felt terrible after realizing how much pain Gayetri caused for his son. Gayetri did not even think how much Heer meant for Prem. Lalit thought Gayetri had a heart of mother. How could a mother think about a plan that would bring pain and shame in her child life just to settled score with her daughter in law.
Lalit started to think that Gayetri behaved like a stepmother at the end of the day not like a mother. Lalit did not think he would ever able to forgive Gayetri for hurting his son.
Prem was a good son and a good person and according to Lalit Prem did not deserve that.
Lalit also found Gayetri's behavior towards Heer very illogical. According to him blaming Heer for Veera -Nihal relationship absolutely made no sense.
Lalit could not understand how Gayetri forgot the care she recived from the Heer. That poor girl respected her as her own mother. Nevertheless, Gayetri tried to poison Prem's mind against Heer, tried to make Heer suffer, tried to break Heer's marriage by hiring Ash.
Lalit also felt that he should be also blamed for the injustice happened to Heer. He should have monitor Gayetri's activity movement more closely when he first saw Gayetri was turning bitter against Heer. He should have been more forceful about bringing Heer back into Prem's life when Gayetri was planning Prem's marriage with Geet. He thought he should have also observe Gayetri more closely after Prem-Heer's remarriage as it was apparent that, Gayetri was not too happy with the remarriage of Prem and Heer.
Lalit did not know how he would be able to look at Balraj's eyes when he would go to another world after his death. How he would explain to his best friend about his failure in protecting Heer from the injustice.
Lalit realized his family was now facing a very tough situation. Juneja family now became a good source of media gossip. All members of the family were confused about the whole situation and they did not know what to believe. Lalit decided they all needed to take some break and they all could decide to talk about the situation in the dinner.
"Dekho bacche aaj jo bhi hua iss ke lekar hum sab pereshan hein, koi sawal hum sab logo ke man mein, koi baate hein jo tum batana chahata ho, lekin mujhe lagta hein aab hume thodasa rest le lena chahiye. Iss liye sab aapne aapne room mein jao, dinner mein hum sab kutch duscuss karenge." Lalit told rest of the family members.
In Prem and Heer's room:
Prem after sitting on the bed did not utter a single word. He was lost in the deep thought. He was feeling conflicted emotion. Everything became so confusing for him. He was already feeling resentment towards his stepmother after watching her video with Ash. Nevertheless, after hearing the audio tape, his resentment for his stepmother reached new high.
His resentment was making his feeling and emotion complicated in that whole situation.
Prem knew Gayetri most probably was trapped by Ash. Prem did not exactly believe that Gayetri was planning all of that for the property. He also knew that when Ash tried to force herself on him, it was Ash's decision only.
However, one part of Prem did not care about those facts. One part of him was feeling satisfaction after seeing Gayetri going into jail. The thought of Gayetri was now passing her time in jail now was very pleasurable to one part of him.
That part of him did not care that Gayetri was probably not guilty for the crime she had gone to the jail.
That part of Prem could not able to find any sympathy for Gayetri when she became a victim of Ash's falsehood.
The media was bashing Gayetri left or right, they were portraying her as a real life villain. Nevertheless, Prem did not care a bit; he was not feeling any desire to defend her.
Nevertheless, there was another part of him, which was feeling disturbed on the fact that, a part of him could feel pleasure at the suffering of another person. A part of him felt disturbed that he was finding satisfaction on Gayetri going jail even though he probably knew Gayetri ultimately did not carry out the crime.
Prem realized that, the whole situation was changing his mindset. His bitterness, apathy was making him to question himself.
Heer knew, her soul mate was feeling conflicted emotion. The whole incident left a great mark on Prem's mind.
She recognized that, in that period of time he needed her support. Heer put her hands on Prem's hands and slowly rested her head on Prem's shoulder. When Prem felt her presence, Prem wrapped his one arm around Heer's back and pulled her more closely.
For few minutes, both of them remained silent. Finally, Heer broke the silence as she thought Prem needed to express his thoughts to someone.
"Prem, mein janti hu ki aaj jo hua, usse tum bahut pereshan ho, lekin jo bhi ho tum to jante ho tumhari ye Heer hamesha apna Prem ka saat dega." Heer after saying that gently rubbed her hands on Prem's hand to show her support.
Prem did not say anything for few seconds; he was gently playing with Heer's hair.
"Heer kya tumhe lagta hein ki mein ek accha insan hu?" Prem asked Heer.
Heer was taken back after hearing that type of question from her husband.
"Prem ye kaisa sawal poonch rahe ho. Prem tum meri pati ho iss liye nahi keh rahi ho tum saach mein bahut acche insan ho. Tumhare saat meri aatma ka rushta hein uss rishto ki wajase mein janti hu tumhara andar mein acchaiyat hein. Meri mano tumhara acchiyat bahut zyda hein. Tumhara acchayat tumhe ye khomta deta hein ki tum har insan mein pahele uska acchayat dhoond sako.
Tumne tumhara har rishto ko shiddat se nibhaya. Ek patni aur tumhari paayar hone ke naate mein ye kehe sakta hu ki tumse accha jeevan sathi mere liye koi hoyi nahi sakta. Tum ne mujhe itna payyar diya ki mere liye ishq ek ebadat ban gaya. Tumhara payyar mein itna ghearyi hein jis mein sama saku. Tum mere liye payyar ka dosra naam ho. Tum mere liye wo takat ho jo mujhe meri sari galti ko bhulke samne kadam barane ki hosla deti hein.
Tumhari ye sab quality ek saboot hein ki tum ek bahut acche insan ho."Heer told Prem in a loving voice and kissed his forehead.
"Mujhe tumhe ya sawal karna sahi nahi hua, kyunki tum to biased answer dogi, mujh se bahut payyar jo karti ho.
Mujh mein bahut sari khamiya hein Heer, lekin mera kismat accha hein ki tum mera zindegi mein aaye jo mera khamiyo ko mera takat ne badal diya.
Janti hun Heer aaj mein tumse ye sawal kyun kiya. Kyunki mein khud nahi janta ki mein aabhi bhi accha insan hu ya nahi.
Mera jasbat bahut conflicted ho gaya Heer. Jante hu Heer jab police ne Mrs. Gayetri Juneja ko hatkari pehan kar le ja raha tha tab mujhe unke liye koi sympathy nahi jaga, balki mujhe bahut santoshi mil raha tha jab mein unke haato mein hatkari dekha. Mera man ka ek hissa iss waqt bahut anand mehasos kar raha hein kyun ki aaj ke raat Mrs. Gayetri Juneja ne jail ki andhere mein katayegi.
Pata hein Heer kabhi kabhi lagta hein mujhe iss baat se koi farak nahi padta ki jo iljam ke wajase Mrs. Juneja jail mein gaya hein wo sahi ya galat mere liye to bas wo mujrim hein jo mera nishta aur biswas ka majak udaya.
Media unke lekar tara tara se baate likh raha hein, unka ijjat ka dhahiya udate rahe hein tv pe.Unke bare mein aise bure baat likh rahe ya bol rahe hein jo dur dur tak sahi nahi hein.
Lekin iss baato se mera man ka ek hissa ko koi farak nahi parta. Agar sare mediawalo ne unke khilaf bade se bade jhut bhi bole tab bhi mujh mein unko defend karne ke liye koi khawish nahi jag rahe hein.
Mujhe lagta hein ki Ash ne Mrs. Juneja ko fasya lekin mere dil mein iss liye Mrs. Juneja ke upar koi sehanabhuti nahi hein.
Unke khilaf mera gussa, naarajgi, nafrat aab uss had tak chale gaye ki mujhe sahi aur galat ka parwa bhi nahi ho raha hein.
Mujhe lagta hein ki iss sare situation ki wajase mein badal raha hu, aur mere liye chinta ki baat ye hein ki iss badalo ko mein samaj nahi raha hu. Mein nahi janta hu iss badlao mujhe kaha le jayega. Mujhe dar hein ekdin mein itna badal jao ki mein khud ko pechan nahi sakoo." Prem told Heer.
" Prem tum jitna bhi badal jao, tumhari acchayi kabhi nahi badlenge. Aur mein tumhe ye dilasa de sakta hu ki jo bhi ho jaye zindegi mein iss Heer aapna Prem ko hameaha bahut payyar karenge.
Prem tum aabhi bhi bahut bahut acche insan ho. Aapne aapko kosna band karo. Mrs. Jumeja ka saat aaj jo bhi hui aur future mein jo bhi hogi uss mein tumhari koi haat nahi hein.
Tumhare jassbat ko mein bahut acche tarah se samaj sakti hu. Prem tumhare har emotions ye baat ki saboot hein ki tum ek insan ho jiski rago mein khoon behata hein. Prem tum koi devata nahi jo itna sab hone ki baad bhi kutch feel na kare.
Prem tumhara ye jassbat ka janam tob hua jab Mrs. Juneja tumhara unke upar biswas,nishta, payyar ka na jayej faida uthaya. Wo aurat kya kutch nahi kiya, wo aapne nafrat andhi ho gayi thi, unko apne nafrat aage tumhara kushi nahi dekhi, iss liye bahut normal hein ki tumhare dil ka hissa unke liye koi sympathy feel na kare.
Lekin ek baat jante ho Prem, tum aaj bhi aapni acchayi dekha rahe ho unke liye. Kynki unki tumhari khilaf itne sare karnamo ki baad bhi tumhe ye baat kos raha hein ki tumhara dil ke ek hisse mein unke liye bahut sare resentment hein.
Prem tum ne Mrs. Juneja ko jail nahi bheja, tumne unko jhuti illjam nahi fasya, tumne nahi kaha media ko unke khilaf kutch likh ne ke liye. Tum ne to gharwale ke samne unke khilaf koi baat bhi nahi ki hein itne sab hone ke baad.
Prem tum iss waqt ek mushkil dar se gujar rahe ho emotionally jo har insan ki zindegi mein aa sakta hein. Lekin iska matlab ye nahi ki tum bure ho.
Mujhe pura yakeen hein bahut jald ye sab thick ho jayegi, kyunki tumhari patni hein tumhare saat iss mushkil dar mein.
Aur Prem ek aakhiri baat ayinda mujhse ye maat jaatani ki Meri Prem Juneja kabhi bure insan mein badal sakte hein. Heer Juneja aapni pati ka koi bhi burayi sahen nahi karegi chahye wo jo bhi ho." Heer told Prem.
Prem hugged her tightly after hearing that, his eyes got little teary.
"Jante ho Heer zindegi mein aage jo bhi ho bhagwan se mera koi shikayet nahi rahega. Kynki unhone tumhe mera jodi ke roop mein bheja hein. Zindegi mein jo bhi ho jaye mera payyar tumhare liye kabhi nahi badlenge. " Prem told Heer.
"Janti hu Prem, hamara payyar kabhi nahi badlenge ek dosre ke liye chahe jo bhi ho jaye." Heer replied.
