The conflicting narratives are hilarious to say the least. It's extremely amusing to see the same people that termed the film a disaster have now done a complete 180 and are knit-picking the verdict of the film, even funnier is crediting the success to the same terrorist group they supported for targeting the film, under the impression that the negativity/bans would seal the fate of the film. Didn't know Karni Sena was powerful enough to make people flock to theaters for multiple watches. Apparently their influence and reach is world-wide too.

I dont understand this hate for padmaavat and the greatest filmmaker of India , padmashri SLB

Who in India at present can stand in competition to SLB? none

not even rk hirani and aditya chopra.

If you dont like padmaavat its completely ok...but whats the fuss going to town and telling false stories like the film bombed.

What is this strategy to convince the world that its bad film? It wont work.

while in reality, the film has been loved and appreciated by most people except few.

I can say that protests may have instigated people to come and watch first week out of curiosity.

but what about 2nd week?

what about 3rd week?

Its word of mouth that is still bringing in the numbers despite padman releasing

and trade pundits are sure the way Padmaavat is doing well along padman, it can even give tough fight when aiyyary releases too
