It is one of the most auspicious yogas as per Hindu astrology. A person having that yoga it is said name and fame follows them. Also gaja means elephant kesari means great.so gajakesari literally means great among elephants. If u look from south culture where manyakhet is shown usually for temple festival the idol of Lord is paraded on elephants that has specific characteristics and are found worthy to carry the idol. A live example u can see during thrissur pooram which happens in the month of April. It is a cultural extravaganza of Kerala.
