Interesting storyline

Well, I am new to this particular forum. I missed the first 2 weeks of show being unaware of it. Before putting my point, let me make a self-declaration that I am not aware of such a king before knowing about the TV show. So I have no specific expectations from the CV's about the portrayal of any particular character.

Pros:

1. Got my attention due to princess Mrinalvati. Her courage and her control over her brother Tailap. (Something which can be seen in frictional stories only😉). I find it somewhat parallel to Rajaraja cholan who had consulted the political moves with his sister Kundavai. (By the way, she didn't control him by any means).

2. Story based on history. (Distortions are permitted as long as it does not hurt any human sentiments). The title states itihaas bhi, rahasya bhi. So CV's are in safe zone. Rahasya can be used for creativity freedom.😊

3. So far good acting by everyone and steady forward march of the story.

Cons:

1. Costumes of Palace ladies need to be taken care.

2. Background sound track can be avoided in certain places where the dialogues are not heard properly.

3. That dancer track... 😡

Hope to know more about the different perspectives of PV and Mrinal.

Mrinal's charecter drew my attention too as she sermed different than the average TV heroines

I have watched many Historical shows but always gor irritated later on due to over fictionalisation

Here i so not know anythong anout the history of this king and i have decided not to find out too

I am going to watch it as a fictional period drama and in that sence i am enjoying it

Kosha is confusing, yet interesting too. I hope they clear the confusions soon. But, Mrinalvati is not going to intervene, and Jakkala is trying to burn her down. Only Tailap can do something now, but bound by his Akka's orders. 🥱
