"Love is a promise, Love is a sowenir,Once given never forgotten,Never let it disappeare"PROMISE - MOON, STARS & YOU!A house completes when there lot's of hubbub from different corners, people running from here and there, the laugh together then only it's call a home. The morning was usual, just like other morning, there is fragrance of tea from kitchen and with that breakfast preparation was going on, some sleepyhead was still sleeping and other doing routine of morning prayers.
In all this hustle bustle, one girl early 20s getting ready for temple, it's her every Sunday routine to go temple but today something was special, along with this a tension was coming for her.
She slowly peep out of room saw everyone was busy with their morning chores, taking the advantages of situation she tried to run out from the house but only to collide with her grandmother.
Sambhal ke beta " her grandmother holded young girl arm to prevent her self from falling down
Sorry" the only word escaped from girls mouth with guilt of harming her grandmother "aap theek ho na ?" She asked with concern
Haan main bilkul theek tu tension mat le " the old lady replied caressing her hairs with affection
Waise itni subha subha kahan jaa rahi ho beta ?" Young Girl heard that question which she was afraid to be asked
Vo...main...vo mandir... Mandir jaa rahi hun " she replied with stammering little
Mandir! Aaj toh raviwar hai na chal main bhi chalti hun tere sath " and with this reply her all hope drained out
Arey... " She tried to try her luck but before she could speak a word the old lady interrupt her
Bas do minute beta... Waise bhi main Khali hi baithi hun " the old lady replied wearing her shoes to go with her granddaughter.
She didn't have any other options except follow her grandmother as she could retort back or argu with anyone, she just follow what other say.
With that both went to temple by walking, and the old lady told her granddaughter about her old days which wholeheartedly enjoyed by young girl as she loves to hear her grandmother old memories which hold lots of inspiration and a lesson too for her. Among with all cousins she was the most loveable grandchild of her grandmother. But today her one side was enjoying company of her grandmother and other was tension, as he is going to come to temple too.
They purchased some flowers and Veneration plate. After that they started climbing up the stairs that when girls eyes laid on him. He is here waiting for her, leaning on pillar of the temple. Till now he was drowned into the boredom but as soon as his laid on her, his face flashed like mirror, advertising about Colgate toothpaste along with that his eyes glittering with happiness which is enough for her to chuckled at him. But it didn't took much time for his happiness turned out of bad dream as soon as he saw her grandmother with her. In order to hide himself from her grandmother he tried to run from there but the pillar he was leaning till now come between and kissed his face immediately causing him to make contact directly with marbal floor. Anyhow he gathered himself and run away hide behind the temple.
Her heart shank seeing him in such state because of her but kept her expression steady infront of her grandmother. They both entered into temple. The old lady give veneration plate to priest of the temple and started praying before Lord by folding her hand with closed eyes. Seeing her grandmother busy with her prayer the young girl make way her out of temple to find him out. She never knew that her grandmother has all eyes on her each action. The old lady smiled, then taking veneration plate back went behind her granddaughter only to get drowned in her old memories as her granddaughter was near that tree which was witness of naina's sour and most happiest moment of life.
Shriya... Why are you late ? Why didn't you informed me about your grandmother visiting and where the hell is your phone ??" The guy asked who was hiding behind tree as soon as his eyes laid on his girlfriend who come there with difficultly escaping from her grandmother
I'm really sorry adi...umm.. actually dadi ke aane ka mujhe bhi nhi pata tha... Or mera phone mere sath nhi tha toh main inform nhi kar payi... Really sorry for that " she said cutely holding her ears to which he smiled looking at his innocent yet sweet girlfriend
Acha jaldi bolo kya kaam hai..?? Dadi sath me hai mere " Shriya asked looking here and there
Happy promise day Shriya... Today I promise you that I will love you till my last bre..." Adi couldn't complete as Shriya placed her hand on his mouth.
Seeing this Naina was shocked, her past flashed on her mind
Sameer tum hamesha late aate ho " Naina cried seeing a breathless Sameer infront of her who was late for 15 minutes. With difficult she manages to come meet him at temple but he's always late.
Sorry Naina... Meri aankh nhi khuli " Sameer replied after taking breath
Ye sahi hai pehle khud bulao phir bolo neend nhi khuli... Tum jao or jake so jao... Main chali ghar..." Naina replied angrily heading her heals towards exit.
Naina " Sameer called her to which she didn't stopped but went to temple as she hadn't went to temple as she waited for sameer, Sameer sighed then went behind her.
A smile crept into her lips seeing him by her side who just folded his hand and pretend to be praying but actually he is mumbling sorry to her. Naina didn't response him, being in relationships with him for 1 year she loves get his attention, it's not like that she always show tantrums but sometimes she too crave for his attention. Sameer know her all acts and he himself loves to pamper her. They were in now 12th standard little much has grown but never changed themselves and their love for each other.
Sameer know very well how to tackle her girl, veneration plate back from priest and move toward banyan tree, Sameer run fast and slowly without coming anyone's notice he placed red rose in her veneration plate. Naina stopped instantly and took the red rose on her hand and observed it quietly, she herself didn't realise when she started smiling. Her anger vanished thin in air after seeing Sameer holding his ear cutely, mouthed sorry to her. She smiled happily accepting his sorry by nodding.
Happy promise day Naina " Sameer wished her which grew her smile more as Naina move toward banyan tree and started her parikrama by Sameer being at her back.
Happy promise day Sameer " Naina replied with same love as she turned around and wish him, She smiled then resume circling around big banyan tree to avoid gazed at them.
Naina today making witness to this tree I promise you that I will always love you forever even after my soul left to this body" Sameer said only get glare from naina as Naina turned around.
Sameer no..." Naina said angrily at his choice of words
Okay let's change it, I promise to love you till your last breath... then I'll get new one " Sameer said and chuckled as Naina playfully slapped his arm for that PJ
Seriously Sameer ??" Naina said being irritated with his teasing session. He always tease her without caring about situations in which they are. " I'm going " said Naina tried to move but he didn't let her to do so, he come in front of her and stopped her from going.
Sameer I don't want someone who promises me the star and moon. I want someone who promises to lay on the grass and watch them with me " Naina said looking at him then resume her prikrama
I will... I will... I promise you Naina and along with that I will tell you my poems too " Sameer said
Naina I can't promise you that I will fix every problem but I promise that I won't let you face them alone..." Sameer said intently looking at her conveying his honesty with it

I promise to you Naina that I will work everyday to be better person, for you and for myself. I want you to be proud of me " Sameer said

Shhh Sameer... Everything is alright now " naina said, stopping her track and turned around to confront him.
Kahan khoyi hui ho naina ?" Sameer asked bringing blanket for his wife who was staring at moon and stars sitting on swing which was placed at their terrace
Samay kitni jaldi badlta hai na... Kal his jagha pe hum the aaj humare grandchildrens hai " Naina said still looking at moon while Sameer sit beside her after wrapping her in blanket
Kya hua naina...??" Sameer said looking at her, Naina glanced at him then told him about morning incident where their granddaughter Shriya went to temple meet her boyfriend and how with that Naina remember about their sweet temple dates. SamAina had done love marriage, they were first one to support love or love marriage.
Sameer yaad hai gau mata " said Naina and started laughing
Sameer horrified remembering Gau mata, he still hadn't forgotten about that slap gau mata had given him. Then smiled remembering his sweet past and looked at the reason of his life who was laughing beside him as if there is no tomorrow. Her smile work like oxygen in his life, he can go any extend to keep this smile on her face forever, the promise he had taken, he will be the reason the smile played on her lips. He will be the reason of her happiness. Whenever Naina smile or laugh because him, it give immense amount of satisfaction as if the reason for his birth is now completed.
He never realised that he wrapped an arm around her shoulder, and his lips were on her forehead. They are not like those people who celebrate love each other on valentine's day only and next day resume their fight again. Every day for SamAina is day of celebration of love.

I love you too Sameer " Naina replied a sincere smile was left on her lips, Naina leans on his shoulder and waited for him to fulfil his promise, under the moon night with full of stars speaking out poems written by him.
