It seems to be the season of celebration and commitment. The grand Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli nuptials seem to be a precursor to more such hi-profile weddings in B-town. After buzz about the Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja marriage coming up, there comes news of yet another gorgeous showbiz couple ready to tie the knot.

Yes, the beautiful Deepika Padukone, B-town's top actress, is apparently all set to wed long-time beau and superstar Ranveer Singh. In fact, sources reveal that the two secretly got engaged during their recent vacation in the Maldives, in the presence of their parents. What's more, a destination wedding, to be held in the coming three-four months, is being meticulously planned by planners in Delhi. There were also rumours of the two buying a plush bungalow in Goa. The relationship, which apparently began almost five years ago, has been through its fair share of ups and downs. What has emerged triumphant is perhaps love.


A reticent Deepika, recently revealed in a Filmfare interview, "As far as my equation with Ranveer is concerned, I'm sure it will unfold in its own way. I can't wait to be a homemaker. From the time I was a little girl, I've always wanted to do that... Starting a family and sharing that life with people... I'm excited about that!
