EDT~ ep. 77~6.2.18 My stance. Power pack..
Being human means being able, competent, gifted amongst all creation. Life itself gives us a sense of control. Even in death we maintain dominance, for our memories, people continue to live within those whom we meant something to. Yet it's interesting to observe how as people we simultaneously, use and misuse powers invested in us, not only to influence our own lives, but the lives of others around us too. For me thus, today's episode is about how characters sway or weaken other characters, interwoven into a train of events.
Shiv and Sharanya wield considerable power over an aware Vyom , by their subtle ongoing revival of past connections. Shiv cauterizes Vyom's palm before it touches Sharanya's forehead. Vyom is knocked out in cold disbelief ! at the sight of his frozen! nearly inactive hand. Question is, is Vyom seeing things ? reading too much into things? Shiv's name slipping out of Sharanya's mouth! is he then seeing the power of the risen dead?? Vyom cannot be made powerless by some past dark secret! Besides for Vyom no two ways about it, Shiv is completely and utterly dead! But then this knowledge too weakens Vyom! for Vyom's guilt is more force for Shiv! and faint approaching foreboding for Vyom!As Sharanya's possible clinging on to Shiv's memory! will continue to weigh heavy upon Vyom's mind.
Vyom's anxiety is not unfounded. Defying the authority of nature itself. Shiv presently too, exercises power over Sharanya. He guides, protects and stands the test of his love for her periodically. Still Shiv, reprimands her also about her haste , carelessness in drinking. He warns, she may soon fall from power as the much sought after daughter in law. If she doesn't practice self discipline! Like in the car she blurted his name! Sharanya empowers him.. rest assured! she knews how much to say! even while drunk, she probably didn't give anything away. Trouble is she ignores the issue , that with Vyom , distrust and doubt has set already set in his mind against her. Still Shiv acts as the power of good for her. Like before, yet again he warns Sharanya about the type of family she deals with, shrewd , cold blooded. How they have hidden the car in question, right under their very noses! without any one having any knowledge of it , close to the house, where people are least likely to look! Seems Shiv disappeared to locate it ! Yet again Shiv reiterates the value of her life to him. It's not about finding his killer! he's dead regardless! For him it 's vital she stays alive! Near to tears she replies, she is far from alive! She died the day the culprit killed her Shiv!
Seems like Sharanya has no lasting power in her promises to Shiv of exerting extra care at all times, in dealing with all family , not just Vyom , as people here are wily beyond her imagination! In the scene where Vyom spots her talking to someone in the garden, according to Shiv's direction! Vyom grills her by his observational skills! her talking to flowers, fails to impress Vyom. He describes she appeared to be talking to someone, well above her, rather than the flowers, well below her height. Vyom initially visualizes she speaks to Shiv? improbable as it seems! But Shiv's thought is hard for Vyom to shake off. Is he turning powerless under the strain of that slip of the tongue Sharanya made?? Even the cold shower fails to cool off his festering doubts about Sharanya! Over all another scene with the three of them. Predominantly is yet again comic. It's noteworthy to see how Shiv nowadays, gets back at Vyom, by making a fool out of him in comic scenarios! and what's more Sharanya too is party to Shiv's comic settings!
Again Vyom question's her seeming innocence.. Shiv tries to digress the scenario from turning sour, he advises Sharanya to indulge in water hose play! the suggestion is to appease Vyom.. and put Sharanya in the image of a young fun loving prankster! The idea perhaps to cool off the prying Vyom! drenched water babies make way to the house after their Shiv prompted water play!
Too much power too soon with Sharanya, first ending up drunk now traipsing around drenched! In the house calls for more chastisement from her in laws sound off! The cover up literally floods her with elders disdain! Rajan tells off both his son and dil for being promiscuous and inconsiderate! In the wake of the missing Vidyut!
How right Shiv is when he comments, some nasty people live around Sharanya! Plotting is rife! Elders use authority to stir malice towards the young ones. All to create unrest in the family. Chandni wields negative power over Rati. Draws her attention to Vyom/Sharanya's harmless fun and games in the garden. Taunts and poisons Rati, watch how insensitive they are. Even Vyom, he couldn't care less! Sharanya can't be blamed she's an outsider!
Chandni wants to get the power of changing equations of relationships in Bedi house. She has run in's with Madhvi who threatens to kick her out for creating trouble in the family! But seems in the traditional sister in laws relationship the older in status Chandni does her power play! she nearly strikes Madhvi. Its touching how Shiv kneels beside her.. and pleads to her for uncovering the truth!
Chandni even shows her power play before Rajan, when he yells at Vyom for the uncalled for shameless garden incident! In fact Chandni even very nearly brings up Rajan's hypocrisy of at first promoting Vyom/Sharanya liaison! Now he pulls them down by his double standards! She attempts to instigate Rajan, that his son is like putty in Sharanya's hands! Chandni sure is a trouble shooter.. divides to rule!
Shiv is mindful of all the secrecy ,back biting and betrayal in Bedi family. His concern is before they get to Sharanya,who shows no awareness of this. He will have to act with the power of goodness in mind. The force behind his motive is protection of Sharanya.
Despite the family bickering, getting told off badly for indulging in a bit of fun with Sharanya! Vyom continues with seeing Shiv! In the garden after Sharanya goes in.. in his minds eye.. Vyom sees Shiv approach him, looms over him, glares down at Vyom ,fed up! Vyom looks up at him with glazed eyes.. is Shiv for real? Or is he a figment of his over heated imagination?? Vyom muses.. He will have to ensure if there is reason to why Sharanya took Shiv's name?? precap, seems a set up fire to catch out the authenticity whether his innocent Sharanya lies or not? about seeing Shiv! hamlet53 6.2.18
