Govinda turns down offer for Salman

Salman Khan is surely one of the bad boys of Bollywood. But there are friends who are willing to stand by him anytime. Govinda who made his comeback because of Salman in Partner has refused to star in a movie with Vivek Oberoi as that would offend Salman. Everyone in the industry is aware that Vivek is Salman's enemy No 1 owing to Aishwarya Bachchan who in the end dumped both the stars.

Tusshar Hiranandani who has signed Vivek Oberoi for his directorial debut needed a older male lead for the movie. He first approached Anil Kapoor who turned down the offerafter which he approached Govinda. The star demanded a astronomical fee for the movie which the director could not afford. Insiders say that Govinda would not have starred in the movie for any amount as he would not like to offend Salman.
