The makers are at least sticking to Mrinal as a warrior princess unlike Ekta who promoted Nandini a lot as a warrior princess but after the show started she was shown fighting in only few episodes and later made into a crying biwi and bahu. Warrior princess ban gayi phuski bomb😆.

You have raised quite good points. Seriously, I have no problems with mrinal being fiercy and all in revenge mode and Prithvi being softy. Normally it does the other way around.
Makers gave her a past to make Story digestible as it is on television. Where people are so used to tyag ki murti FL. So PV is a refreshing change.

About Prithvi, i know he would bounce back as he is warrior poet. Right now there is difficult time for Prithvi but soon he would back in his form.

Ain't we liked the PYPCK just because of the strong FL and non abusive ML. Here is the same as well.

Here it's irritating to see Munj being not being selfish for the throne even when his bro don't deserve it like it was irritating to see V showing pita bhakti to Marich. CK too was what some people may think selfish and self-centered in some ways while V was known for beheading people but respecting women. Here I see posts about how Munj was not soft and all. So if the makers showed real Mrinal being Iike this without any bad past what would have people said? In the 1st episode, I loved how Munj was all giving pravachan, singing and dancing in one moment and killing those Africans in the next moment when angered. He even sent the head of the leader as a gift to the people who sent these Africans.

Juhi... its true that some posts are being made about it... but for now the majority is liking Munj and Mrinal the way they are.😳. it might not reflect in rigged TRP system as well 😆... but you must see the response of show on twitter and other social media... these two already got a huge fanbase without being Abbusive male and rone wali female...😆

and i hope the love continues... their complex relation grows up as well as their character and rigged trp system never pressurize on the show...😳

The makers have created the reverse psychology in leads but i love the yin yang feel here... PV is no doubt soft hearted and peace loving but not the chocolate boy 😛l.. dare to mess with him and he will show you the place.. and our mrinalvati... harsh, cold, practical but still had a broken soft corner in her heart... more than anything their characters have layers... they are strong leads... what else anyone needs to enjoy?!..

with due respect to KM munshi's novel ad the old movie (which i read in bits.. and saw the movie through..) i found the serial really interesting as for now..

I saw u too in PYPCK forum. It's not that I am supporting everything Mrinal does being a woman but the thing is we can't expect Mrinal to be soft like Jodha and Dharma like everyone is used to see because she was a ruler. Alexander, Ashoka, Akbar did worse but they are still called great just because they are men. They even plated with women's lives but here Mrinal hardly did anything and she is said to be using Munj for her pleasure. We never who we will hate as the story forwards Munj or Mrinal but we can't expect Mrinal to act like devi when she is not at all glorified and her wrong doings are shown as wrong doings only. What Munj is we got to know in the 1st episode when he was all fun loving in one moment and single handedly killing African group in the next moment even sending the leader's head as a gift to the people who sent thoss African men. I hope we stop seeing him wandering alone in jungles for long. It hurts to see the poor guy bring folledby a woman and then punished badly for no fault of his.
