What if Mrinal was like this without any bad past?

I am Juhi who was previously and still in Life Ok's Chandrakanta forum. After PYPCK, I got interested in this show. I can see some familiar names here. The lead couples are shown reversely of how they are normally shown in every shows that is Munj is a lover of art while Mrinal loves to fight. Here however Mrinal is shown is because if her bad past but real Mrinal was not like that. I saw 1943 movie by fast forwarding but read it's review. There Mrinal was a window and was more mean with absolutely no bad past. So my question is what if Mrinal was like this without any bad past? Would we all people have accepted her? I think the makers created a bad past for Mrinal for this reason also that people will not accept a female lead who is cruel, mean and arrogant(according to them of course). Here I read some negative things about Mrinal even with bad pasts that she is selfish, opportunistic and what not. I wonder what would have been said about her if she had bad past at all and was like this because she is like this? Wasn't Alexander like that who wanted to rule the whole world without any reason? But he is called Alexander The Great. Wasn't Akbar too like that who ruled the entire India? But he is also called Akbar The Great. Both of them ruined so many women's lives. At least Mrinal is not marrying multiple men. Coming to Prithvi, I am feeling bad for him that the woman he got attracted to and made her comfortable had fooled him in such a big way even trying to kill his father. We know his father was bad but he does not. Now he even got himself thrown out of the kingdom and will live in constant danger. So I am thinking from both the sides. But looks like some are having problems with the male lead being being sift and the female lead being hard so we are seeing some new information everyday about how were real Munj and real Mrinal because we people are used to watch stories if female lead changing male lead but here it's the opposite. If the story of Munj and Mrinal were reversed then there would be no such problems to some people I think. It's not that I am supporting Mrinal in everything being a girl but the problem is diffivulty of peopl in accepting a female ruler who is not always kind and soft. Real Razia Sultan was not like she was shown in &TV show but she was much more of a political player. Here Mrinal too is like that. I am sorry if I hurt anyone as it's my 1st post here. I tried to be a silent member here but I could not stop myself from posting this.

But Maya was turned black to show the other heroine as good. Right? Here I hope Mrinal is not destroyed to show Amrutha as mahaan.

Well I think Maya was not turned dark to glorify Saanjh...It was Maya's story - A woman whose love turns into obsession and destroys lives not only her's but of others as well...It was a gradual transformation from grey to dark which was the story about...Saanjh was always the good girl.

Well I hate when characters are butchered to glorify other characters...that is just a poor form of writing

I don't think Mrinal will be butchered here coz Mrinal and Prithvi love story is the core of the show...Amrusha can be shown as a positive character though

We know that their actions are not justified but we do know the reasons behind their actions. we do feel for each one of them

In real life no one is pure black or pure white...but grey...real and flawed and so are these characters

I wouldn't have mind a dark Mrinal as well who wanted to attack Malwa to expand her rule ! In this case also she would have been grey in my opinion..In those times wars were very common and kings used to attack one another to expand their kingdom

I am loving these grey characters at the moment

Also it is refreshing to see the roles bring reversed...Heroine is all about war while hero is all about art and peace !

I think that's the reason the makers pre-shot the episodes months earlier to avoid interference of the channel for TRPs. Bin Kuch Kahe was also pre-shot but it always 0.2 TRPs being a good show. Coming to the show, I want Prithvi to be back ad a prince. Can't see him in jungles always fighting to be alive. He should stop being mahaan with everyone especially with Sindhuraj and that acharya who only puts him down always. His scenes with Kallari were so nice. The man who would scold Prithvi like a kid was crying so much when he was leaving.

I think Prithvi will be back to Malwa after it will get attacked by Manyakhet

@Mano Yup i always prefer grey , flawed characters rather than pure white and pure black as they seem more real and intriguing to me

That is why I am happy that Mrinal has been shown has a grey character with a tragic past...She is flawed yet understandable
