Why Such limited Emotional Intensity?

I usually keep myself away from complaints regarding editing issue, bloopers and all the illogical aspects of IB. I have always ignored them. So did I today - how anika's shoes changed from heels to snickers 🤣 the fact that veer forgot to see anika's face but showed his with the 'i'm the winner' attitude (gadhey!) 😆 and many more.

What I could not ignore was Shivay's reaction after he rescued Anika from the fire. I'm always super sensitive when it comes to playing a certain emotion and there's no way I let it go regardless of how much I love the show/actor/writer.

I loved how he wrapped his scarf around her and carried her in his arms out of the cottage and then asked if she was okay. But Considering the fact that Shivay had been keeping everything a secret and away from Anika because he didn't want to risk her life and because he doesn't want her to go through all that again when she already faced so much all her life, when there was no one to share her pain and hardship, be the pillar of strength, give her support and above all, without the love of a family, I felt his reaction after rescuing her should have been more intense. I mean he kept her away from the plan because he didn't want her to be in danger and the moment he involves her in the plan, her life is at stake. I was expecting a combination of anger (for being the stubborn wife that she is and dragging herself to this mess), concern , anxiety (if she's okay), fear ('cause the game isn't over and now that she's involved, there will be multiple similar occurrence and this should scare the daylight out of him because his "jaan" is where she is) , concern and over protectiveness (because he knows there's no way she's gonna back off, but he also knows that there's no way he can let anything happen to her).

I know we have gotten such sequence earlier too, and it might look cliche but just because of that, we can't ignore the circumstance. She was at the verge of getting burnt into ashes which should be no joke to him and it really should trigger different kinds of reactions and sentiment than the trademark lines dealing with "Anika tum thik ho? Kya zaroorat thi aapne jaan ko khatre mein daalna".

I don't know if they're gonna extend this bit but even if they don't, I feel it is really important to show at least a solo scene of Shivay going through all these and depicting all those emotions for his wife.

Besides that, I'm glad Veer is finally exposed Chore ne dimaag ki daahi bana di thi, kasam se

Today's episode had bloopers galore and truly lacked intensity. They even edited how Shivaay after untying Annika leapt out from the rising flames with Annika in tow! Also Annika's face was almost revealed as the hijab was slipping and Veer did not recognize the subject of his adulation??

The episode initially dragged and then ran like Rajdhani express!

We need to have a little talk with Shashank Ji...
The editing was bad today and was ruining a good episode. I too wanted to see Shivaay crib a bit more about Annika...I live for those moments!😆

Yes Rimi. I hate how they drag it for no reason, showing all the unnecessary stuff filled with bloopers, and when the important scene does come, they rush it so much that we don't get the feels. I don't know if CVs think they have given us way too many NDE scenes and so rushing it should not matter to us. but regardless of how many times it has occurred before, would we really not care if someone is tied up in a room who does not have any way to help herself and the fire is blazing merrily, and above all, the subject of the question is your wife who you claim to be the reason of your everyday heartbeat😕

@Red: LOL Rajhdhani express🤣

@Red: SAMEEE😆 but today it wasn't even about what I like. They chose to show this kind of scene and then they wasted time showing all the unnecessary stuff and then dragged when they should have gone at the pace of a tortoise 🥱 Today's episode had a lot of potential, they just didn't pull it off well

I'm just curious to know whether the technicians, or PH, or whoever is in charge of the final cut, watches the epi beforehand?

I mean, who gives the final green light for each episode (ready to be aired)?

That person, or team, can't possibly be okay with this kind of editing. I'm no professional nor do I have the knowledge of editing, but koi bhi viewer can see that this is just next level bad editing. Scenes are supposed to transfer smoothly from one to another ... itna toh sab ko pata hai, especially editor Saab ko, hai nah?! 🤔

Thus, kills the intensity of such poignant scenes...

🤣 the editing was always bad in Ishqbaaaz...
If I sit and count I will have to keep myself in the Ishqbaaaz forum Bermuda triangle🤣

Apart from this editing, I heard many small things were edited for Shivika, RiKara which were actually shown in segments but when it came to episode they r cut. Don't ask me details as I have to ask others bcz I don't watch segments😆

So yes, this is not a new thing in Ishqbaaaz...ab thak tho sab ko aadat hojane chahiye🤣 and let's assume that all those cut little cute moments between all the characters, and these emotions at certain points went to our forum Bermuda triangle.🤣

Watch the actual editior sahab vacaying in some corner of the world while the substitute does OMM of each episode and spills too much raita and creates a mess ...and the audience becomes the victim🥱
