yet to see today's episode but we should be used to Annika changing shoes mid-motion!

she did it en route to meet Samarjeet Malhotra!

one min it was a six inch heel where she stumbled and ten walked perfectly!

within a min while she discusses/argues with Rudy over the cost of the shoe and handbag, her shoes changed to a more comfortable one!

probably that 25K handbag has hidden compartment for comfort shoes!

if that was the case - little wonder that the burkha hid a pair of sneakers!

Madam Annika is always ready for all terrains! she manages to pull magic shoes!

looks to be an all-happening episode. cant wait to watch.

Mushfika IB is following new equation of intensity:

Intensity = Smile * Eyelock ^ 2

PS: Pun intended 😆

Mushfika, i agree aith your post- his care and angst came across but it was too short lived and less intense! It was as though let us get through the perfunctory questions and gestures before jumping to item #2!
Annika almost died! When they can concentrate on other time pass matters (other episodes), they should have been given a few more hugtime, anger born out of almost losing her and yellings!

3) Did Anika fuss over him with great concern? Yes she did

4) Did he scold her again for putting her life in such danger? Yes he did

So I'm honestly not sure what was really lacking there...they checked off all the boxes and then moved on to discussing the Veer situation...This once, I'm really not finding much to blame the makers over...the scene wasn't really lacking in emotion...it had all the usual Shivika things in it...them fussing over each other, being concerned for each other...but then they moved on to the Veer issue as was the main purpose of all this.

I agree that the usual editing issues were there...but then that's an IB mainstay...it wasn't some extra worse editing today...it was the usual IB standards.

I don't think they were looking to do much else from a writing perspective for this scene cuz as I said, the larger focus is on what's coming up...now tomorrow also there will be emotional intensity with Shivaay asking Anika to leave...lol then again later on when he shoots her...those scenes will demand a different level of emoting.

Today's scenes didn't really need much else I feel...maybe it's just me *shrugs*

*Edit: Adding caps as illustrating visuals

👏 these pictures say it all, but why did not you posted the picture of Annika runnung in shoes 😉. Beauty lies in the eyes of beholder.

Ok i try to see it from different angle. Shivika are really wall of each other but at the same time they can go to any extent to save their family. When they came out of that fire they both were injured but more than that they were in shock what they did see all few minutes back. They both are in a way pure by heart and believe people very easily so they both were really shaken by the reveleation that Veer is the person and they did not care for their wounds and were immeditely on the job what to do next. I really loved their courage, its very difficult to break them if they are together. They can start from the ashes and still go to the skies because this is what they are doing in their past, it is really evedent from last few episodes.

Even I am unhappy with the way things are moving. Ishqbaaz is slipping into monotony. Veer could have recognised Anika because her eyes were visible as most of you pointed out.

I felt Anika could have at least doubted the attacker to be veer even without him taking off his mask - his physique with height more than that of an average man. He spoke to Anika with his helmet in place but even then she would have heard his voice and recognised him. Though it would have been muffled, the way of speaking will give hint. All this was to prolong the track. If makers feel they want to prolong good track, they should have prolonged Laal Ishq track.
