Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown King Henry the Fourth, William Shakespeare.

It is wonderful to connect with people I know thru this forum again.. Monica and Havi big Hug and all the new people who have commented on my previous post🤗

Last weekend's episode for me showcased the two kings and the differences.

Malwa has an aging king whose son should be the rightful king but he prefers the righteous Prithvi, an adopted child for he knows in order to rule you need empathy and compassion which is lacking with his biological child. Manyaket has Mrinal a princess who is determined to make her brother the ultimate King. Tailap does not really seem to want the responsibility, what does he really want? We got a glimpse of it yesterday when he felt angry that his sister had made his lover Kosha perform in the royal palace. He wanted to ask his sister the question but is unable to is it because he feels obligated to his sister who has renounced all pleasures for the sole sake of making him king?

Malwa's heir apparent or so Singhdant son thinks wants the throne by hook or crook he hates Prithvi and wants to get rid of him whereas Prithvi understands this and wants his brother to just love him and if him being in Malwa is bothering his brother he wants to renounce everything.

The two stories are juxtaposed. A sister who wants to avenge her parent's death and whose sole aim is to crown her brother the King AND a brother who is willing to give up anything including his home so that his brother would just love him. And two kings one wants to be a king and another wants to just live his life.

P.S What is the name of the Biological Son Prithvi Brother?

Tailap's wife wants to insult Kosha her husbands lover and asks for permission from Mrinal...Mrinal like a princess told her to fight her own battles. Will this come to haunt her ?will Tailap turn on her when it comes to her love of Prithvi?

Kosha was humiliated but will her humiliation be the turning point in Mayakets fate? prithvi renounces everything but he loves his Malwa will he come back to save his country from Manyaket and be crowned the real king?

The stage has been set for the stories to unfold.

It would be amiss of me if I don't mention the scene between Prithvi and Mrinal at the edge of the water. She jumps into the water, he throws his sword which falls a bit short, was it intentional I think so for was he just giving her a warning? Or was it because he feels something for her?. She looks at his sword wants it as a reminder of her goal but her eyes are thoughtful and is intrigued by the Mysterious Man to whom the sword belongs to

Closing with a quote "I have decided to stick with Love for Hate is too great a burden to bear MLK

Will this quote be the ultimate deciding factor for Tailap and Mrinal?

Thoughts welcome

His missing the mark was an important point to be noted.

Like his guru says, prithvi never misses his mark.
So either he intentionally missed the mark (as a warning, or bcz he has feelings for her or any other reason) OR he genuinely missed (bcz subconsciously he was unwilling to kill her)

Either way, on purpose or by mistake...prithvi wouldn't have wanted to lose the eyes he had been dreaming about for such a long time.

PS: Nice quotes as usual

Lovely post !
Yup there are 2 kingdoms , 2 siblings , 2 ideologies

Prithvi's bro's name is Sindhuraj

On one end there is Malwa where Prithvi loves his brother even though he hates him..he understands Sindhu..he wants Sindhu to love him and Prithvi wants him to sit on the throne if this is what takes for Sindhu to love him as a brother..Sindhu also wants the throne but detests his brother..Will his heart melt once he will come to know that Prithvi left so that he can become the king

On the other hand we have Manyakhet where Mrinal also wants her brother to be the king

But here Tailap loves his sister..she is the centre of his universe..his akka but what does Tailap want ? This is the question I had raised before as well...He loves Kosha and perhaps wants to live a life on his own terms!

Does he really want to be the chakravarti king that his sister wants him to become or he wants a simple life...what does he want.

Does he really hate Malwa as much as Mrinal does.

Here Mrinal also wants good for her brother but doesn't want to know what Tailap wants...I had said she is like those parents who force their kids to take up a certain profession without trying to know what exactly the kid wants.

As u said..why did not Tailap confronted Mrinal..why did he stop..is it because he feels obligated or he loves her too much or it is because of both these reasons

Yes Kosha will definitely be one of the main reasons thst will create cracks in Mrjnal and Tailap's bond

Kosha will escape for sure..Will she reach Malwa..she will detest Jhakkala and Mrinal for sure...Will she detest Tailap too...what will she do ?

What will Tailap do once he will find out that someone burnt the brothel..Will he think that Kosha dies

Will this be one of the many reasons for Tailap to detest Prithvi since he will somewhere blame Mrinal for this

Prithiv spared Mrjnal for a reason..why did he spared her plus what was written on the sword we will get to know

Also I think when Manyakeht will attack Malwa at that time Prithvi will be forced to come back.

Thjngs are getting interesting!

Such contradictory personalities n ideologies only reinforce the fact that despite having similar anatomy n structure, humans are so very different from each other...unique as fingerprints

Prithvi is a very fair man
So he wouldn't have killed Mrinal with his sword without ascertaining the reasons behind her action...even if he had found his 'EYES' finally
So his missing his mark was most likely intentional...just a warning maybe

I am loving your takes on the episodes
Loved ur take on epi 3-4 as well!

I felt that was again a contrast between Prithvi n Mrinal. Mrinal has been wronged in past n believes to avenge her wrong-doer that is Singhdant. But she doesn't even wanna hear his side of story.
Prithvi on the other hand saw his father getting stabbed n his kingdom being attacked but still he chose to give Mrinal a last warning. Not only this he went on to ask Singhdant why Mrinal wanted to kill him. He wants to hear both sides of the story before forming a judgement.

Loved your quotes dear.

Two contrasting yet same kind of humans. Where mrinal sacrificed her luxury life for his brother and Prithvi too sacrificing the throne for his brother. They are more or less kinda same.

About Prithvi amiss the aim. That was purely intentional as he is rational about everything. So he just gave her the warning. I m really looking forward to how the story gonna be unfold.
