Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown King Henry the Fourth, William Shakespeare.
It is wonderful to connect with people I know thru this forum again.. Monica and Havi big Hug and all the new people who have commented on my previous post🤗
Last weekend's episode for me showcased the two kings and the differences.
Malwa has an aging king whose son should be the rightful king but he prefers the righteous Prithvi, an adopted child for he knows in order to rule you need empathy and compassion which is lacking with his biological child. Manyaket has Mrinal a princess who is determined to make her brother the ultimate King. Tailap does not really seem to want the responsibility, what does he really want? We got a glimpse of it yesterday when he felt angry that his sister had made his lover Kosha perform in the royal palace. He wanted to ask his sister the question but is unable to is it because he feels obligated to his sister who has renounced all pleasures for the sole sake of making him king?
Malwa's heir apparent or so Singhdant son thinks wants the throne by hook or crook he hates Prithvi and wants to get rid of him whereas Prithvi understands this and wants his brother to just love him and if him being in Malwa is bothering his brother he wants to renounce everything.
The two stories are juxtaposed. A sister who wants to avenge her parent's death and whose sole aim is to crown her brother the King AND a brother who is willing to give up anything including his home so that his brother would just love him. And two kings one wants to be a king and another wants to just live his life.
P.S What is the name of the Biological Son Prithvi Brother?
Tailap's wife wants to insult Kosha her husbands lover and asks for permission from Mrinal...Mrinal like a princess told her to fight her own battles. Will this come to haunt her ?will Tailap turn on her when it comes to her love of Prithvi?
Kosha was humiliated but will her humiliation be the turning point in Mayakets fate? prithvi renounces everything but he loves his Malwa will he come back to save his country from Manyaket and be crowned the real king?
The stage has been set for the stories to unfold.
It would be amiss of me if I don't mention the scene between Prithvi and Mrinal at the edge of the water. She jumps into the water, he throws his sword which falls a bit short, was it intentional I think so for was he just giving her a warning? Or was it because he feels something for her?. She looks at his sword wants it as a reminder of her goal but her eyes are thoughtful and is intrigued by the Mysterious Man to whom the sword belongs to
Closing with a quote "I have decided to stick with Love for Hate is too great a burden to bear MLK
Will this quote be the ultimate deciding factor for Tailap and Mrinal?
Thoughts welcome
