Padmaavat Hits Rs 200 Crore At The Box Office

It's now time to celebrate as Sanjay Leela Bhansalis magnum opus Padmaavat, starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, is expected to cross Rs 200-mark with Sunday's box office collections. The film that released after much difficulty on January 25 and has completed over two weeks at the box office, has gathered much appreciation, especially it's leading actors Ranveer, Shahid and Deepika for the portrayal of their respective characters in the film. While Ranveer has been showered with a lot of love and appreciation for his portrayal of Alauddin Khilji in the film, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor's performances have been praised too

BOI said the film lost a quarter of its cillections with the ban in 4 states

Those three states (Raj Guj MP) are the three biggest states of India. Padmavati would have crossed Dangal easily and become the highest all - time BW grosser if it got a proper release all over. Sigh.
