Chapter 8 (long chapter)
Days went by with Shaurya and Mahek's sweet encounters. With Shaurya's help,Ameer and his gang got arrested but sultan was not found. Sonal was freed finally. Shaurya brought her home one day to meet with Mahek. Both friends reunited. Shaurya was happy seeing Mahek smile and laugh with her friend once again. He offered Sonal a job at khanna Real state and Sonal accepted it happily. Mahek's love and respect for shaurya increased. One morning,Mahek was helping Karuna ma in the kitchen when her cell phone beeped. It was Shaurya from his room. "I'm missing you Cupcakes,can you come in the room? Please? I don't have much time...I'm running late for work.'' Mahek replied. "I can't na...I'm helping ma in the kitchen and everyone's here...I can't just come to your room Shaurya,we are not married yet..and it wont look good when the elders are here'' Shaurya read the message and tossed the phone on the bed. "Bloody hell! How will i bring her in the room?.'' Thought Shaurya. He dialled her number. Before she could say anything on the phone, he spoke. "Within five minutes if don't show up in my room,I'm going to carry you here on my shoulders!'' Shaurya's voice, sultry and breathy, wrapped around Mahek,tempting, rich, and classy. Her breath almost stopped and she quickly hung up. "No Shaurya you can't do that!'' She muttered. Just then his deep voice reached her from the stairs. "Mahek!'' She turned to see him standing there with one hand on his hips and his other hand signalling her to come inside. Mahek swallowed and shook her head in no. "Bloody hell!'' He was coming down the stairs to get her when Karuna sent Awara to see what he wanted. "Ji Sir ..do you need anything?'' Asked Awara. "Are you Mahek?'' Awara nodded in no. "Idiot!'' Shaurya scolded him for nothing and he left with a sad face. Angrily shaurya stormed towards his room when Mahek ignored him and attended to Ajji. After giving meds to Ajji,Mahek thought to go see what he wanted. As she was Halfway to the stairs,Harish howled for her. "Mahek beta can you bring me my glasses from my room?''Mahek sighed and left to get the glasses.
Few minutes later,Ayesha joined the ladies in the kitchen to give them a hand. "Ayesha,please table the breakfast with Awara I'll go see Shaurya.'' Said Mahek. "Arey Di ruko! (Di stop) Both brothers left for the office already!'' Ayesha told her. "Without eating?'' Asked Mahek. "Han.. jiju seemed upset and dragged vicky along with him.'' Mahek's countenance fell. "How can he leave without eating?'' She quickly dialled his number. Shaurya's phone rang,when he saw her name flashing on the screen He switched it off. "Kaat diya? He must be really mad on me...'' tears sprang in her eyes. "Who's mad on you beta?'' Asked Ajji who heard her blabbering. Mahek told her what had happened. "Oh yeh baath hai! I have an idea!'' Ajji whispered something in her ears. Mahek's face lit up at the idea. "Thanks Ajji! You are a sweetheart!'' She hugged her and Ajji blessed her. Everyone had their breakfast except Mahek. "I'll eat with Shaurya.'' Mahek told Karuna ma shyly when she asked her to eat.
Just before lunch time,Mahek arrived at Shaurya's office with a picnic basket. She had prepared a nice delicious lunch for shaurya. With a beautiful smile playing on her lips She got in the elevator and pressed button number 4. Elevator stopped on the fourth floor,Mahek stepped out and bumped into vicky. "Bhaabi aap?'' Mahek smiled and handed him his lunch bag. "Take this,your lovely wife sent it for you.'' "Oh thank you bhabhi I was starving!'' Thanking her,vicky took the lunch bag. "Where's Shaurya?'' She asked. "Bhaiya is in his office,third cabin on your right is bhaiya's.'' Saying That vicky left towards his office. Mahek came to the door of Shaurya's cabin and tapped on it. "Come in!'' His deep sultry voice gave her butterflies. Exhaling,She opened the door gently and entered inside. "You? What you doing here?'' She placed the basket on the coffee table. "Han main! Kiyu? Were you waiting for someone else?'' Shaurya kept on working without uttering another word. "How mean!'' Thought Mahek. "I came to give you your lunch,you missed your breakfast I guess because of me and now I don't want you to skip lunch.'' "Cupcakes I'm really busy...Leave the lunch and go home,I'll eat it later!'' He told her without moving his gaze from the laptop he was working on. Mahek went and sat on the desk under his nose. She gently touched his cheeks with the back of her fingers. "Tum mujhse naraaz ho?''(are you mad at me?) she asked softly. "Nahi...I have too much work to do...tum ghar jaao!'' (Go home!) He pushed her hand away. "Look mister! Don't make me call you grumpy khanna alright? Leave the work for now,let's go to the park at the back of the building and have a nice lunch in the sun! Just the two of us,what say?'' He looked at her and she winked at him. He opened his mouth to say something when Mahek placed her finger on his lips to shut him up. Still pressing her finger to his lips she got down and sat on his lap giving him a instant hard on. Planting a kiss on his cheek she rested her head on his chest and hugged him. "I know you are very angry on me and I'm sorry...I was coming to you but you were gone...please maaf kardo na...'' she faked a cry. "I don't like it when you ignore me Mahek!'' He reached for the drawer and took out a little shiny gift bag. "I was calling you for this.'' Mahek took the bag and looked inside. Colourful bangles brought a smile on her face. "Wow! It's pretty! Thank you!'' She got up from his lap and emptied the bag on his desk. Shaurya was enjoying the beautiful smile on her face but he pretended to be upset on her. "Can you put these on my wrists? If you don't mind?'' She insisted with a puppy face. Just then his office phone rang and he answered the call. "Alright I'm on my way!'' Hanging up he looked at Mahek. "I have a meeting to attend right away,you go home I'll catch you later.'' Mahek frowned with a sad pout. "I'm not going anywhere until you come back and have lunch with me!'' She ran to the door, folded her arms and stood her ground. "Zid mat karo,ghar jaao!''(don't be stubborn just go home!) "hmm hmm! I'm not going!'' She blocked his way. He strode toward her. Sweat broke on her temple. He was going to kiss her.She knew it and still she rooted in place. "This should shut you up!'' Firm lips gently breezed across hers. She moaned in his mouth.The taste of mint filled her senses.His lips brushed again as his hand touched her shoulder and tugged her closer. She tingled clear to her toes. His lips pressed harder against hers,seeking a response.She opened and his tongue slid inside. A whimper of surrender escaped. He reacted to the sound by pressing her head closer to him, holding her for his taking as his mouth devoured her. She barely noticed the stubble of his beard scraping her cheek.
"This is a punishment for ignoring me this morning.'' he mumbled against her lips. Strong fingers threaded through her hair. Hot and hungry, he deepened the kiss as he pushed her on the door and moved against her like he couldn't get enough, like he was ready to swallow her up. Her legs weakened. Instinctively, she wrapped her arms around his neck, skimmed her fingers through the hair that feathered his collar, and hung on,warm and willing. Desire pounded within her. It was the second time they were kissing.
Shaurya's hands, hot and heavy, moved to her waist as his mouth drank her in. One hand slid across her back and pressed her nearer, while the other inched near her thinly covered breasts.His thumb rubbed against her hard nipple through the material. She felt his steel shaft throbbing on her abdomen. A jolt of sensation shot through her, and her mind switched on. "You are getting late for the meeting...'' she managed to say on his mouth. Reluctantly he let her go! She breathed. Grabbing his files he walked out of his office. "Shaurya! Please say you forgave me!''She cried. But he was gone. She stomped her feet and sat down on his chair and grimaced. "Grumpy khanna Kahi ka!'' Then she thought about the kiss they just shared.
Shaurya was physically present in the meeting but his heart and mind was with Mahek. "Vicky,go check If Mahek is still there or left.'' He whispered in Vicky's ears. Vicky nodded and left to check. Shaurya continued with the demonstration. Meanwhile,Mahek was bored in his huge office. "I won't talk to you anymore grumpy khanna!'' She blabbered And drew an ugly face on a paper and autographed "grumpy khanna''. Placing it on his desk She thought to go for a walk in the park which was just behind the building. "Ma'am are you leaving?'' Asked the security guards at the gates. "Not really! I'm going for a walk in the park.'' The security guard nodded and Mahek left. On the other side,vicky couldn't find Mahek in the office so he thought she had left. He went back and told Shaurya. "She must be mad at me but I'll make it up to her tonight.'' Thought Shaurya. It was around 4 pm when the meeting came to an end. "Vicky mere bhai,I have to rush home...I'm sure Mahek is really upset on me and I have to pacify her somehow. Lock the office and come,I'm leaving!'' Shaurya told vicky while stepping inside his cabin. Vicky nodded and left. Shaurya found the picnic basket,the bangles and Mahek's cell phone on his desk. "Why did she leave everything here?'' Wondered Shaurya. His eyes fell on the drawing she left it for him. Grumpy khanna brought a smile on his face. "Silly girl!'' He gathered everything and came out in the parkade,Got in the car and sped towards home. On the way he felt something was not right. Strange thoughts invaded his mind. He felt weird. "Cupcakes,I hope you are fine.''
Just around 5,Shaurya reached home. Karuna saw the basket in his hand. She wondered where Mahek was. She looked past him but there was no sign of Mahek. "Shaurya,Mahek kaha hai beta?'' (Where's Mahek?) Fear took over Shaurya. "What do you mean mom? Didn't she come home? She left office around 2.'' Karuna looked worried. "No she didn't,her parents are back. They wanted to surprise her but Mahek wasn't here. I told them Mahek is with you,her mom said to send her back once she returns.'' Sweat broke on Shaurya's temple. "Shit!'' He left everything on the table and rushed towards his car. "Shaurya sunn toh!'' (Listen Shaurya) Karuna ma called behind him but he was gone.
Sun was setting when Shaurya reached his office. The security guard ran to him. "Sir I was trying to call you but your phone was switched off.'' "Why what's wrong?'' He asked while checking his phone. Security guard was right! His phone was switched off. He quickly turned it on and found so many missed calls and messages from the guard. "Will you tell me anything?'' Shaurya roared at him. "Woh Sir...Mahek madam was molested in the park this evening.'' "What the hell! Is she ok? Where is she?'' Shaurya shook the guard. He felt like someone stabbed him in his heart. "Me and the other guard were going around the building when we heard her scream,we ran to the park and rescued her on time. She's badly hurt and injured,we had to call an ambulance and sent her to the hospital.'' The guard continued. "Why didn't you call vicky when my phone was off?'' He grabbed the guards collar. "Sorry sir...'' He let go of him. "Get off my face!'' Tears formed in Shaurya's eyes and his palm balled into two hard fists. "I will kill those bas***ds!'' He dialled Vicky's number. Vicky answered right away. "Han bhaiya,Mahek Bhabhi is home...she's in a bad shape...her parents are back ..they were terrified when they saw her but she lied to them bhaiya...she said she was playing with the kids in the park and fell down the slope and got hurt.'' "This is all my fault vicky...I screwed up everything...'' Hanging up he drove like crazy towards sharma residence. Mahek's parents met him at the door. He touched their feet and took their blessing. "Meera aunty,I want to see Mahek.'' He pleaded. "She's sleeping beta,come inside.'' Shaurya went inside,his eyes were on the door of Mahek's room. Tears welled in his eyes. "I'm so sorry ..it's all my fault...'' Shaurya said to Meera. "It's not your fault,she's responsible for her condition ..the nurses that brought her home,told us she fell in the ditch in some park.'' Shaurya wanted to tell her whatever happened in the office but then he thought may be Mahek didn't wanted them to know that's why she lied so he kept quite. "Meera,bring tea and snack..come have a seat beta and don't worry Mahek is a strong girl she'll recover in no time.'' Said Sunil who was unaware of the sexual molestation his daughter went through. Shaurya faked a smile. He just wanted to see Mahek somehow and didn't know just how. "Uncle aunty,I have to go. We'll have tea some other time...umm why don't you both come home tonight? Ajji would love to meet you both...she's leaving for the village tomorrow morning...Simmi can come and stay with Mahek for the time being.'' "Accha theek hai we'll come for few minutes.'' Meera assured him and he left. Coming home to find the basket and Mahek's phone on the table made him feel guilty. "Because of me she didn't even eat the entire day...how will I forgive myself? What if something major had happened? What if they rap...'' he shrugged off the thoughts with moist eyes and called Awara. Karuna also came running with Awara. "What's the matter Shaurya? Is Mahek ok? Did you meet her?'' Shaurya sadly nodded his head in no. "I have invited her parents over to meet Ajji,keep them here till dinner, I can go and meet Mahek at that time otherwise I'll go nuts without her mom.'' Karuna agreed and got busy in making dinner for the sharma's.
Shaurya freshened up and explained Simmi what he had planned to do. Simmi agreed to help. "But Bhaiya,enough is enough! I want both of you to get married as soon as possible,a week before she got kidnaped and now this...I'm not liking this at all.'' Simmi was really sad. Shaurya hugged his little sister and promised her that he will marry Mahek in a weeks time. "Really bhaiya? Yay!'' Simmi squirmed in excitement. "Go now and do as I say.'' Simmi left towards sharma house feeling happy. Shaurya came down in the kitchen and made a vegetable soup for Mahek. Karuna gave him a questionable look. "I have to make it up to her mom,she's lying in bed because of me.'' Karuna caressed his back. "I understand beta.'' "Awara,heat the food which Mahek made for me,I'll eat that in front of her.'' Awara obeyed without any questions. Karuna pulled Shaurya's cheek. "I'll talk to the sharma's about yours and Mahek's marriage tonight.'' "No mom! I have to propose to her first and that to in-front of her family.'' Just then 10 year old Rahil walked in the kitchen. "You can do that on Di's birthday which is in three days!'' He smiled and hugged Shaurya. "Hey buddy what's up?'' "Nothing much! I was practising hockey with my friends,and what's up with you? You look tensed.'' Asked Rahil. "It's your sister I'm worried about.'' Rahil gestured him to lower his head. He did and he whispered in his ears. "Then go meet her dude,my parents are here and busy talking with your grandma,coast is clear! Go and send Simmi back, I have stories to tell her.'' Shaurya And Rahil we're in for a high5. Karuna smiled at them. "I'll go meet with Meera,give my love to Mahek. I'll visit her tomorrow.'' Rahil also left with Karuna. Shaurya packed the food and sneaked out from the back door.
At the sharma house,Simmi opened the door and let him inside. "How is she?'' He asked. "She's in pain and not saying anything.'' Simmi told him sadly. "Don't worry she'll be ok soon,go now and call me when aunty uncle leave the house,ok?'' Simmi nodded and left towards khanna house. Closing the door behind him,Shaurya made his way towards Mahek's room. Gently opening the door,he stepped in. The room was dimly lit. Mahek was lying on her bed like a lifeless doll. Shaurya's heart pinched. Leaving the food on the table he sat on the bed and took her hand in his. Cuts and bruises were visible on her face and neck. He felt really bad. Tears formed in his eyes as stared at her sore face. Mahek feebly opened her eye-lids . "Shaurya...'' her voice was brittle. "I'm sorry Cupcakes...I'm responsible for this...I'm the one that put you through this torture...please babe forgive me...'' Tears escaped the corner of her eyes seeing his face. "Don't say that Please...And I don't like to see my lion crying... I missed you ...I really did...Shaurya,can you Hide me in your arms?...I want to feel your warmth ...'' Shaurya leaned back on the headboard and gently took her in his arms. She closed her eyes and sobbed on his chest. He enveloped her in his warmth and tenderness. Her tears on his chest told him everything that happened in the park that day. "I will kill those bas***ds with my bare hands!'' Anger shot through his eyes and His blood boiled. "I will make them pay!'' He wrapped the sheets around them and held her to his chest. "You should have never left the cabin even though I told you.'' He said softly and caressed her back. "I was bored na that's why I left...'' Shaurya cupped her face. "We are getting married in a week,I don't want us to leave each other's side anymore.'' He rained his warm kisses on her bruised face and neck. And Mahek let him. "You know,it feels like heaven in your arms.'' She said softly and curved into the warmth of his body. He leaned forward to rub his lips against her collarbone, up her throat. His lips were soft and his rough stubbles tickled her and she giggled. "That tickles Shaurya ..please mat karo!'' Shaurya was happy that she was laughing after that dreadful incident. He was the only one that had power to make her laugh even in pain. "I'm glad you are safe and nothing major happened,otherwise I would have never forgiven myself Mahek.'' He told her. She planted a long kiss on his cheek. "You know who saved me? Your security guards! You should give them a raise Shaurya.'' Shaurya rubbed her nose with his. "Yes they definitely need a reward.'' Mahek snuggled more on him. "I lied to everyone except vicky,please don't tell anybody what really happened to me at the park.'' She Pleaded. "I won't! But I'll punish those rascals myself! Anyway,you haven't eaten anything since morning neither have I! I'm gonna eat the lunch you made for me and you will have the soup I made for you!'' He helped her lean on the headrest and got out of bed. "Shaurya,That was lunch,it's dinner time and you'll eat the stale lunch?'' "It's still fresh and healthy.'' He answered. He never ate leftovers for dinner,or food that was prepared for lunch but that day he was doing it for her. And she very well knew why. Arranging everything on a plate and with the soup bowl he sat on the bed beside her. "Open your mouth..this is the second time I have cooked for anybody.'' Mahek smiled remembering the noodle he made for her for the very first time. He fed her and in few spoons she was feeling way better. It was not the soup but his presence made her feel better. And then Her bak bak started. Shaurya made sure she finished the entire bowl which she did in between her blabbering. She didn't even know he had also given her the meds she needed to take. "Now my turn to feed you!'' She fed him the lunch she had made for him. Meanwhile Meera came back to check on Mahek when everyone else were busy talking. She quietly opened the door and found both lovebirds talking,laughing and eating. "Anyone would want to fall in love just by looking at you both.'' Both looked towards the door from where the voice was coming. Meera was standing there with a smile and her eyes were moist with happy tears. "Meera Aunty ...'' Shaurya tried to get up. "No need to get up...I just came to check on my daughter.'' She walked towards him. "No one can love her like you do Shaurya.'' She caressed his head lovingly. "Thank you for coming in her life and thank you for everything you did for her and are still doing.'' Shaurya got up and dried her tears. "Don't say thank you please...I love your daughter and I will do everything in my control to see her happy.'' Meera hugged him. "From today I'm your Meera ma.'' Mahek was in tears seeing them like that. "Chalo I'll go now,everyone must be waiting for me at the dinner table,Mahek don't forget to apply ointment on the bruises.'' Caressing Mahek's head,Meera left from there. Shaurya sighed and looked at Mahek who had smile on her face. "Now which ointment mom was talking about?'' He asked. "That one on the dresser,I don't like the smell of it! It's strong.'' Shaurya walked to the dresser and found the cream. "What if I apply it on you...'' Mahek's eyes widened. "Nahi...tum rahne doh main karlungi!''(no..you leave it I'll do it myself) He came back,wiped her hands and face with a warm wet face cloth and gave her water to drink. He then put the dishes away and looked at her in the dim light. "Where are the bruises Mahek?'' Mahek gulped. "Woh...I told you na I'll do it.'' She pulled the sheets over head and hid inside. "You know I can come inside the blanket too right?'' Mahek just swallowed and swallowed. She heard him approaching her. "Please Shaurya ...it's on the places I can't show you..'' she said softly. Shaurya sat beside her and pulled the sheets down. She opened her eyes and found him looking down at her. His dark brown eyes were deep and fathomless. "You love me right?'' He asked. She watched, her muscles tense, as he undid the knot at her waist. She was in her panties and bra inside the robe. There was nothing she could do when his fingers sank into the soft material and opened the robe. Her body was bared to his gaze, and she'd never felt so exposed before. Her body tingled, and she bit her lip in embarrassment. "Shaurya please..'' she squeezed her eyes tightly shut and grabbed the sheets on both sides. "Relax! I won't bite you or do other things just yet...I can hold it till our first night.'' Mahek skipped a heartbeat when he said that. Wedding night,she hasn't thought about that yet. She felt butterflies at the name of first night. He applied the cream on her abdomen where the bruises were. Mahek hissed in pain as her skin burned. Shaurya quickly blew his breath on the bruises to soothe the pain. The intimate contact made her back arch and her air catch in her lungs. Shaurya lifted his head and shot her a look. Inside, his guts were churning. Her smooth skin under his hand was driving him crazy. "Bass karo please it's burning.'' She protested. "Is it the ointment that is burning or my touch?'' He asked with a tease in his voice. "Your hands.. she told the truth. Shaurya chuckled and made her sit up. He applied the cream to her mid back and lower back. In between he would brush his lips on her flesh. "Shaurya stop it warna maarungi main!'' (Otherwise I'll hit you). Her milky skin was giving him a hard on. "Cover yourself Cupcakes,I won't be able to keep my hands and other things to myself for too long.'' "Tum na Ek number ka besharam ho!'' She Quickly tied her silky robe around her . Her skin burned wherever he touched her. He chuckled and dug in his pocket and drew the bangles he had bought for her. "My bangles! Sorry I left them at the office!'' Mahek squirmed and extended her hands for him to slide the bangles on. Shaurya slid the bangles in her wrist one at a time. She was conscious of the warmth of his skin, leathery feel of his palm and fingertips. The sensations chased her up and down her arm. He didn't let her go right away. Instead, he raised her hand to his lips and pressed a kiss on the spot where the bangles were dangling. Then he did something that caught Mahek totally off guard. He guided her thumb slowly to outline the contour of his lips, bottom and top. Mahek felt as if melted wax spilled through her limbs in a heated rush. His lips were indescribably soft, contrasted with the bristles of his mustache. Opening his lips he pulled her thumb just inside the hot moist mouth and gave a slow gentle suck that she felt clear down to her toes. A whimper escaped her mouth and she pulled her hand. "Don't Shaurya.'' The word barely escaped from the tightened muscles of her throat. He was in no mood to listen.With one finger beneath her chin he tilted her face up toward his. And at that moment she knew what was coming. "I can't stop touching you Mahek,I'm addicted!'' Her knees started to tremble as he stared hungrily at her mouth. "And I'm sure a kiss would make you heal quicker.'' He didn't let her speak and slanted his lips on hers. His kiss was as strong and masterful as he was, possessing her, filling her completely.Hot and hungry she felt herself being as helpless. Consumed. Emptied and refilled. A mastery in the way he sucked the breath from her lips, then breathed for her when she forgot how. Still kissing her He gently lowered her on the bed. He moved his mouth against her throat, against a vital artery pulsing with adrenaline. Her heart thumped hard inside her chest. Her eyes centered on his mouth. He had a beautiful smile. A perfect smile. A loving smile. It had the power to make her happy just to dwell on it. Her world came to a halt as his mouth came down over hers again. Or have any other sensation numbing every nerve in her body except for the giving and taking caress of his lips. Life was in his lips. He gave her life. Intoxicating, soul-shaking, mind-blanking life. He held her cheek with one hand, and his lips possessed hers until she could do nothing but fall weakly against him and let him have absolute control of her. Hoping he would take her over and over. He dipped his tongue between her lips and met her tongue with his. His rough rugged hands roamed her body and she couldn't protest. The effect was electric. She jumped beneath him, and the shot of arousal he felt was all but dizzying. He knew he must stop. Her cheeks were flushed, her lips swollen when he broke the kiss. Mahek gave him a questionable look. "And What do you exactly mean by that?'' He came on top of her and pinned her arms above her head. "Ahhh!'' Is all she could utter. "Have you seen fifty shades of grey? I bet not! Well you better start watching it because I'm gonna do what Christian grey did to Anastasia steel.'' Mahek swallowed with a widened eyes. "You are scaring me Shaurya...I'm gonna cry now..'' Shaurya burst out laughing at her panic stricken face. "You love teasing me don't you?'' She pouted with a frown. "Always have always will!'' He rained her face with his warm kisses and rolled over. He sat leaning on the headboard. "Come here!'' He gently took her in his arms. Mahek cuddled him while he covered them with a quilt. "Try to get some sleep,I'll leave once you are fast asleep.'' "Then I'll not sleep!'' She told him. "Your parents won't like me spending the night with you Cupcakes.'' He ran his fingers in her hairs,wanting her to fall asleep. "Hmm...when will you ask my hand in marriage?'' She asked while playing with his shirt button. "Well that's a surprise!'' Mahek kept blabbering as he rocked her to sleep. "I love you Shaurya ..I love you to the moon and back!'' She blabbered in her sleep. Shaurya smiled with relief as Mahek was feeling much better. Soon she was dozing. Tucking her in and planting a kiss on her forehead,he left.
