Judging from his previous show, this seems to be this producer's USP.

This is exactly what I don't understand. What is Prateek thinking making a show like this? Was this what he was so proud of? The way EDT started, they could've done so much with it and gone many places, both story-wise and character-wise. Knowing Indian television, I wasn't expecting a masterpiece but this is absurd.

It's ridiculous how Vyom's turned out but I can see why it would excite Vikram as an actor. It is Namik's choice which is shocking. He has a right to pick projects he wants but I cannot wrap my head around why he was so enthusiastic about this show. It's like one of those run-of-the-mill male characters who stood in the background while the females were on the frontline. I thought we left those in early 2000s. I am terribly disappointed with this entire situation!

He was supposed to beleive what was narrated to him and as I said and he himself has said he was narrated only the high points. If you have seen his last peri he did say though the high points have remained the same but the route which they took to reach there have changed at a time or two. The execution didnt go as planned/narrated. Also Shiv the ghost was most probably supposedd to have dialouges but that too didnt materialize.

No, I have not seen his latest periscope, etc. You will have to excuse me but I'm not very regular with that kind of stuff. I still hold my impression from the press conference where every actor said they knew the entire arc of their character. High points are just revelations, they are not the whole story.

Execution is a major issue but I have started wondering if this is really just an execution problem. Because whatever little insight into the story we've gotten has also not been appealing. Of course I do realise that we're only halfway into the show (the reason I am still holding on), and I am sure there is a gap to what was narrated to the actors and what is being shown on-screen.
It's just that EDT so far has disappointed beyond expectations. I am used to shows being hyped pre-release and then not being able to live up but I am seeing such a major difference and that too so soon for the first time. Maybe that's why I am a little perplexed.
