This is exactly what I was thinking about...this guy has become so selfless, calm and composed in her love...and today's dialogue about rootna and manana...i just hope that he doesnt meet his tolerance level and fall down dejected and heartbroken...

But as you said...both of them are right in their own way...

felt like Naina is melting slowly...but again she doesnt want to...now its the battle between her will power and her heart...

also loving the marriage prep scenes they are showing...the gift packing, card distribution...naina's talk about the wedding in the school...brought back so many fond memories of my growing up...thats exactly what we used to do during any wedding in the family...

and not to mention the excitement to go to airport to pick or drop...πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

the serial brings back so many fond memories of 90's kids πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ

Hi Soumya

Aww.. so sweet of you to wait for my post. Thank you ! 😳 Yesterday I didn't post , tied up with lot of things. I missed posting of Bhukkad Bholuram Sameer..πŸ˜†

You know right who reminds me of Bhukkad πŸ˜‰πŸ˜† Aditi and I were remembering those Bhukkad days πŸ˜†

The show is back to its original charm.πŸ₯³ Agree a family wedding was so nice those days, so much of hulla, excitement, happiness. If the wedding preps are so nicely shown, can't wait for the wedding itself.

Naina is melting she might forgive him soon after this PTA but love ?

As usual good one Nivi!! Really missed your analysis post yesterday!! Coming to yudkbh, Sameer desperately wants Naina to be happy!! He is trying every possible way to make her happy!! And yes rakesh is so mean and selfish!! Phulla Bua rocked the entire episode!! Loved the way she kept taunting meena taiji and on the other hand Bela chachi seems to be very happy with it!! Naina's reaction when bua dadi mentioned about sameer was funny!! Back to school Naina is upset with her father for not attending and Sameer starts his romeogiri which makes Naina burst out her frustration!! I have a strong feeling that she will not tear the card!!

Thank you Abhinaya!
I missed posting on Bhukkad also, real life calls.

Bela was taking advantage of the situation, her reactions were funny.πŸ˜†

I hope she doesn't tear the card, even she does she will regret and maybe she will make a sorry card for him

Adding my two cents here...

When we viewers were watching the build up to the bet revelation...and the preceding episodes...weren't we all a bit apprehensive at several phases "Is Sameer doing this for the bet or is he falling in love" Some remained confused as to why was Sameer reiterating the bet when he clearly seemed to be enjoying the company of Naina and was slowly falling in love. Yet, the bet was revealed and in the most dreaded fashion...we all then identified with Naina's predicament and her pain at the betrayal. Naina's voice over was a constant companion on that journey telling us of the dreamworld that Naina had built and we were witness to the pain she felt at its crumbling. Then her voice over became distant and cold in relation to Sameer, just like Naina's heart.

However as time passed, we have been treated to Sameer's perspective on the situation through both his deeds and his voice over and we now have a clear understanding of his thought process ...We have become voyeurs on this journey supporting his efforts to win back her love.

But we see still Naina as unyielding and several viewers have become upset that Naina has not been appreciative of his efforts.

My simple question...Why has it become so easy for us to switch our loyalties in the story?

Initially...we were keen that Sameer fall in love with Naina for herself and not the bet...now we are saying...Oh Naina...how cruel you are to be not able to see that his efforts are all genuine. For how long will you not pay heed?

I wonder is it because the narrative is Sameer empathetic or is it because the majority are female viewers who are considering the male view more empathetically? Or are we just impatient and want to see the story move ahead to the next part?

Let me say...its a bit of all of the above...

My reading is that the story is certainly more male-empathetic in the way it is positioned. The guy has been given the most wonderful qualities. From a guy who was hot headed, carefree, slightly irresponsible...he suddenly has gained stature, falling in love has elevated him to a plane to which Naina can only aspire to reach. Today his assertion that Naina's stoic nature is his fault was a startling revelation. Today he told her that you will tire of staying hurt with me but I will not tire of cajoling you. Indeed a huge challenge.

Naturally, hearing a guy spout this in love, it would take a stone hearted person to not be moved. except we forget as viewers...it is not we who are needed to forgive Sameer but Naina and Naina will only forgive when she reaches the elevated plane that Sameer has already reached in love.

Yet it forces me to think...what does forgiveness actually involve for a person to whom wrong has been done to? Does it involve the erasing of the bitter memory? Yet, it is not easy to erase a bitter memory except...in a new way in which the old chapters get rewritten...Unless Naina finds a way to rewrite her recent past, she is unlikely to really forgive. At the moment, what she can see is a Sameer looking to create new memories but she is lacking the courage to supplant those bitter memories with newer ones. Something dramatic has to happen for her to forgo her pride, her fear, her misgivings

Frankly I am enjoying this languid pace of the romance. I can see Naina needing a propelling push for her to really change her views. It will not come merely as a result of some actions from Sameer. It would require a deeper introspection from her end too...I don't know what the Cvs have planned but I am presuming it will be something as dramatic as her breakdown or Sameer's realisation.

Thank you for your kind words !

Very beautifully articulated as always πŸ‘πŸΌ May I know your name ?

I think it is a bit of everything like you said. I don't believe it is easy for anyone to forgive the kind of act Sameer has done. The best part is Sameer understands gets the gravity of the situation. Naina's words of her not being able to trust and love anyone has made him understand what he has done.

She can forgive him but love him back and trust him again is indeed a big uphill task for Sameer. The forgiveness may come from Chacha resolving differences with Chachi. Chacha and his actions have always had a huge impact on Naina. Sammer's actions of getting Rakesh to school for the award should also have an affect on Naina.

I repeat, great post and thanks for doing this diligently everyday.

I share similar thoughts with some of the posts here. About Arjun - I too felt that he could at least say something praising Naina. Itna darpok hai ?? Didn't like that.

About Naina's behavior towards Sameer - I think it's ok for her to be that way. As such she never had any alone time to process the Mt. Abu series of events. She finally vented her heart out to Sameer in the hospital which made him realize his mistake(sin) and also realize his feelings. Adding to her heartbreak is her home with Taiji and her Dad constantly putting her down about her very birth on this earth.

What Sameer didn't think however is to probably try and give her some space. What started off as forgiveness' from Naina as his goal turned into love confession and getting her to see his love and being persistent about it to the point of frustrating her.

This will end in love confession from her too for sure but what will trigger it ?
It has to be something big like maybe Sameer deciding to let go of her and going to Delhi or some sort of heart break for Sameer. Until then he will persist and drive her more crazy which will in turn frustrate him.

To reach the end game of Sameer sang Naina, we have to understand and appreciate the story tellers.

Thanks Appu !

You are right about this @bold, Sameer has been hovering around her, especially now that he is at her home also. She probably likes the attention he is giving her but can't trust this time. He did the same last time also, apni charms se phasa diya toh this time she will think 100 times before trusting his even 1 word. Both are right in their respective places. That is what is sad.

I am actually surprised that there are spoilers about mutual love confession so soon. It is not easy to fall in love with the same guy who cheated on so soon. Trust the makers will justify her trigger.

Earlier we saw depth and extent of Naina's love... now we're getting it from Sameer... soon it will be from both endsπŸ˜ƒ
We should all keep our cool and wait to see what the makers have planned... it's been a good job from them till now...so let them show whats in their minds... please have patienceπŸ˜ƒ

Thank you Manisha. 😊

I can understand how busy you must be and you take time to write such beautiful posts. Thank you so much for that.

And I enjoy reading other reader's POV too. Sometimes we would have missed some finer details and I feel I understand each episode better after reading your post and the replies.

I loved today's episode.

I am absolutely a fan of Bua-dadi. She is tough but she has a tender heart. She is not biased based on the gender of a child. She treated Arjun and Naina equally. She cherished all the girls in the family and that made my respect go up for her.
She knows how narrow minded Bina is. And so she picks on her constantly which Bina deserves too.

The scene between Bua-Dadi, Bina and Bela was so funny. πŸ˜†

The wedding preparations reminded me so much of how it was back in late 80s and early 90s. unlike now there was no complete catering or contract. cooks etc were there but most of it had to be overlooked by family members. Like how they were talking about making papad for the wedding and asking the neighbours to spare a room or two for guests to stay.
Maybe in big cities like Mumbai or Delhi, it might have been more forward ways of doing things.

But Ahmedabad is a small city and such things were so common in smaller cities and towns.

All these fine details are so nicely portrayed in this serial. Kudos to the makers.πŸ‘

Rakesh -No comments. 😑
The man is beyond redemption.

And as you mentioned, why did Naina say "Itna sab hone ke baad"?

Sameer is trying his best to regain her love. I am sure she will forgive him soon. Maybe she just needs a little more time and healing takes time.

I hope that she forgives him by the time the wedding is over.

But seriously yaar, 3 guys are standing below on the street and staring at a girl, no one notices them. πŸ˜†

People are dumb not just in school but in the entire town. πŸ˜†

Thank you Kavitha for your kind words. Makes me want to not miss a single episode reading the appreciation from all you guys. Thanks !

Bua Dadi's mindset must be open minded because she has seen the world much more than Bela and Taiji. Living in Mumbai, she must have seen life differently than what Taiji and Bela have seen being in a small city. I just loved how she recognized Naina, her talent and her circumstances. Hope she has a hand in nurturing Naina.

Glad you mentioned the Chacha chachi conflict..I suppose they do intend to make that some kind of a parallel aspect in their case...only issue is if they do intend it...I have hardly seen Naina mulling over the aspect...i feel the CVs are missing a trick if they intend to bring about the comparison. The awkwardness is shown merely between Chacha and Chachi but not Naina reflecting on it...so while the Cvs may use this conflict to bring a dramatic twist...their lack of focus on the aspect vis-a-vis Naina is odd..😲 Anyways lets see how they handle that track...

There is a saying in Sankrit which says that "Where women are worshiped, only there exists Gods", unfortunately many in the Agarwal family do not even know this.

I am happy that Bua-Dadi being a woman herself, appreciates girls in the family. I know that she cannot change Rakesh and others overnight, but hope she gives them some gyaan before she goes back to Mumbai.

Bloopers thread - Good idea. πŸ˜†
