Katrina Kaif: Alia Bhatt is 22 and I'm not but do I feel threatened by

It's been 15 years since Katrina Kaif forayed
into the film industry and has become one
of the top actors. But now there are several
new actors who have made their way into
the industry which has become a tough
competition for actresses who are already
established.
When asked about the same by a leading
daily, Katrina stated, "More than anything, it
makes me happy. But it's a wrong notion
and a flawed concept that I must work
harder just because new actors are coming
in. You should work hard on your own
regardless of whether 10 newcomers are
entering the industry or you are the only
person in it. I feel you work hard if it's in
your DNA to work hard and if that's your
work ethic."
Katrina was asked about her close friend
Alia Bhatt, who is relatively new in the
industry. To which she said, "I feel proud of
the work that Alia is doing. Honestly, I don't
know others very well. Are there movie roles
and maybe a few endorsements that are
going to Alia now, for which I would have
been the first choice? 100 percent. And is
that the way things work or the way things
should work? Yes, they should. She is 22 and
I am not. You must accept the fact that life is
constantly moving. Every day, we are moving
forward. I am not 21; does that take away
from me? Do I feel threatened by it? Not at
all! It's the process of life and we have to
embrace a new place now. And I hope there
are new and exciting things for me to do. I
hope film-makers see this phase or the
person that I am today. And I hope they get
excited to make spaces for me in my
current capacity in their films."

How old is this article? Alia turns 25 in March.

I liked the answer. It looks like as if we are seeing a new Katrina altogether post break up. She seems more honest, down to earth and very endearing. Here's wishing her success in her upcoming work. I thought she acted well in namaste London and rajneeti but then somewhere she got confused between acting and play acting like a 5 year old and came out with some horrible acting in movies like bang bang. Saw glimpses of baar baar Dekho. she seemed decent and I feel in TOH and zero she may actually do well.

Good for you...hope you had worked as hard on few things which you lack in... but fortunately for you Mr. Salman Khan is ready to overlook it all and still give you movies, which has helped you survive for so long in the industry.
