Its probably no secret how I've felt about this track, I've enjoyed it mainly because it did not go the typical cliched route other shows do. When Neil chose to be stone hearted and break Avni's heart as a means to protect her, it was heartbreaking I expected to see Avni despise him after the leap but she did not. Avni could have easily turned into one of those illogical leads who directs her anger and pain towards wanting revenge for a broken heart instead of going after the one who started it all in the first place. In this show Avni never forgot who framed her, why she was in jail and why in her mind she had lost everything. Avni emerged wiser and was a force to be reckoned with.
When Avni and Neil came face to face after the leap the CVs could have dragged out this MU for months but did not. Avni fought between her mind and heart and suspected there was more to Neil's actions, it did not take long for her to put the pieces together and learn Neil was Neo and he was being pushed to his breaking point. The misunderstandings were cleared and Avni was back to following her heart.
Neil yes his POV was not clear at first as to why he never told Avni the truth but then we got insight into that, he was protecting her from her self destructive nature. It is no secret how impulsive Avni is, what she is driven by when in a quest for justice. Neil did not want Avni crossing a line she could not come back from and the beauty here Avni understood it all once she knew the truth, he never had to give her any explaination because she knew it from within.
Now to the climax, we are nearing the end of this jail track but not without more drama and suspense. I was speaking with Anjali about this and we agreed it makes complete sense why Vidyut would get the upper hand by eliminating any evidence Neil collected against him, had it been so easy Avni would not have spent so many months behind bars. It needed to be an even playing field so I am happy with that twist obviously Avni is coming out of jail so I am looking forward how that happens especially since Avni is for once keeping her promise to Neil to not escape. For now I am just enjoying how this track is unfolding, how AvNeil are unbreakable and how the characters on this show are actually shown using their brains instead of looking so helpless and defeated playing right into the villains hands. I know many are anxious to see this track end and get back to the light hearted scenes, that day is not far. Looking forward to how this track wraps up which from the look of things could be this coming week itself (see the twins post and the videos for the climax shoot with Karam and Zain)
