After the tour RK gave to Madhu in hospital, they both went to HR to finish the papers work for her internship. RK got a phone call and excused himself. Left Madhu alone to finish her paper work.

"Which branch do you want to start with?" HR officer

"I don't know I didn't think about it" Madhu

"So you can start with the program. With heart surgery" HR officer

"Or she can start with me in bone surgery" T who entered the office just after RK left

"Ok you can start with that" HR officer

"Ok" Madhu

Then she finished signing the papers and found T waiting for her outside the office

"Hi I'm Tanushree the bone surgeon here you can call me T" T

"Hi" Madhu

"We can be friends. I'm Rishu's friend" T

"Yes I know" Madhu annoyed from her

"Actually we had history together. We were close friends at collage. But we lost touch for years. I was shocked when he called me few weeks ago and asked me to work here with him" T

Madhu didn't say anything

"I hope you are not mad at me for what happened between me and Rishu in his office. I just missed him so much for all those years and I couldn't prevent myself. I almost forgot that I am not his girlfriend anymore and he is a married man now" T

"It is ok I can understand. I see you both are very close friends" Madhu

"So we are friends now" T offering her hand to Madhu

"Sure" Madhu shaking her hand

"Now you can come with me. I have surgery. It is a female with double fraction in her right thigh. We will use two slices and nails to support the bone" T

"Now. It is my first day as intern. Am I allowed to enter operation room?" Madhu very excited

"Sure. It is one of the benefits to be the chief's wife" T smiling

"Ok let's do it" Madhu

Then the day went fast she didn't noticed the time untill it is 10pm. She went to RK's office

"It is 10pm now can I go now or you need me here" Madhu

"No don't go now. It is not safe to go alone now" RK

"I will be with the driver" Madhu

"I said no. wait just another hour and we will leave together" RK

"Ok" Madhu

After they back to their house, Madhu prepared dinner to RK but she didn't eat with him

"Aren't you gonna eat?" RK

"No I ate at hospital and I'm not hungry" Madhu

"For the tenth time. What is wrong with you? Why are you sad?" RK

"Nothing I'm ok" Madhu faking smile

"As you like. You can go and rest I'll clean the table" RK

"Ok good night" Madhu

Next day gone with the same routine

"So Madhu can I ask you question?" T

"Sure" Madhu

"If you don't love Rishu why did you marry him?" T

"What? Who told you that?" Madhu

"It is ok dear. Rishu doesn't hide anything from me" T

"I think it is something personal between me and him alone. I don't feel comfortable to talk about our personal life with his friends" Madhu

"It is ok my dear. Like I told you we are very close" T

Then she leaned on Madhu to whisper in her ears

"Even he told me you both sleep in separate rooms" T

"What is he said to you it is not my business. You can go and ask him all you want. Don't ask me. Because I will never talk about my personal life with outsider" Madhu leaving T alone in her office

When Madhu was walking in corridor RK saw her and noticed that she is little dizzy leaning on the wall to support her body. He went to her and helped her to reach his office

"What did happen? Why are you dizzy?" RK

"Nothing. I'll be ok now" Madhu trying to get up and go out from his office

"Wait" RK then he left and back after few minutes with food from hospital's cafeteria

"Eat that" RK

"I'm not hungry" Madhu

"Will you tell me what is wrong with you?" RK getting mad from her stubborn behavior

"Nothing I'm ok" Madhu

"You didn't eat. You didn't sleep for three days now. Tell me what is wrong" RK

"How do you know?" Madhu

"Don't change the subject. What did happen? I will not ask again" RK

"I said nothing" Madhu trying to go out from his office

"Is nothing called Tanushree?" RK

Madhu stopped hearing her name from her husband

"So you know. Why do you asking me then?" Madhu

"Isn't it strange? When you were my student you trusted me more than now and you are my wife" RK

"When I was your student I just heard from Deepali and I know her. But now I saw you with my eyes" Madhu

"You should asked me and I would explain to you" RK

"I don't need your explanation. I know we don't share husband and wife relation. I have no right to ask you or blame you. I understand you need that" Madhu

"What?" RK flabbergasted from what he heard from her

"All I expected from you to respect our relation and our marriage. You were hugging and kissing with your door open. Anyone could saw you. Not only me. What will others say if they saw you both in your office? What will they say about me, your wife? All I ask from you to please take care next time" Madhu

"Ok. I'll be more careful next time. I'll take her to a private hotel room so none can see us. Are you happy?" RK then he left the office leaving Madhu alone

At night they both back to their house

"Just 15 minutes and dinner will be ready" Madhu

"I'm not hungry. Good night" RK

"When did you eat?" Madhu

"I ate at hospital. I'm too tired and I'm going to sleep" RK

"As you like. Good night" Madhu

"Good night" RK

Dear Diary

Are you fooling yourself Rishabh? She doesn't love you and she will never do. She has no problem to be with another woman. All that is matter for her is her wife's ego. Her image as my wife. That is what hurt her. Not her jealousy. Know that clearly and be sure of it. She doesn't love you. She will never do. Don't torture yourself with false hope. Accept your destiny and live with it
