Madhu went with RK to her family house. When she reached there, she noticed the house was fully decorated
"What is it? Why is the house decorated? Is there a party?" Madhu
"You will know everything when we enter there" RK
Padmini opened the door for them and Madhu and RK stepped in the house. Everyone in the house shouted at Madhu
"Congratulation" everyone
"What? Why?" Madhu surprised
"You are Dr. Madhubala Kundra now. Your tests results are out and you are the first again. Congratulation Madhu" RK
Madhu started to jump up and down from happiness she couldn't believe at last she reached her goal. She is officially doctor now
"Really? Am I now officially doctor? I can't believe it" Madhu
"Yes Madhu it is true. You worked hard for that day. You earned it my dear" Padmini was hugging her daughter and they both in tears
"But how do you all know?" Madhu
"Rishabh called me yesterday and told me" Padmini
"Why didn't you tell me?" Madhu asking RK
"He wanted to make surprise party for you. So he asked all not to tell you anything" Padmini
"Thank you" Madhu to RK
"Don't mention it" RK
"I will go and prepare breakfast. Just 15 minutes and breakfast will be ready" Padmini
"Mom you stayed up all night to prepare the party so please you rest and we will do everything today" RK
"It is ok Rishabh just few minutes and I will be back" Padmini
"No. Madhu will you please prepare breakfast for us all. Mom did a lot of work and she needs rest" RK
"Sure just wait here and I will do it" Madhu going to kitchen to make breakfast
After they finished their breakfast, Padmini brought a cake and asked Madhu to cut it. She cut the cake and tried to feed her mother first slice but her mother refused
"Feed you husband first" Padmini
Madhu looked at RK asking his permission to get closer to him she thought that he hates her and he doesn't want to eat from the food she cook so how he will eat the cake she feeds him. RK gave her assuring look by his eyes and opened his mouth to eat the cake. She was very happy that he didn't embarrass her among all her family and that he allowed her to get close to him.
After everyone ate from the cake and, they celebrate Madhu's success RK went down to get something from his car.
"Gifts time" RK in exciting tone
"Mom this Saree is for you. Papa Ji this watch is for you I hope you like it. Aryan I brought to you ps3 but you need to promise me you will not play with it before finishing your homework. Trish I got you new shoes and bag. I hope you all like it" RK
"But Rishabh what is the occasion" Malik
"Your daughter is going to be the greatest doctor in this country. Do you want more than that?" RK
"Thank you son. But tell me what did you get for your wife? You can't forget her" Padmini
"How can I forget the guest of honor for this party? She is the one we celebrating her success" RK
"So what will you give her?" Aryan
"Me. Am I not enough?" RK
They all laugh
"Sure you are more than enough Rishabh. You are the best son in-law any family could have" Malik
"No papa ji do you consider me son in-law. Am I not your son" RK faking sad face
"No I don't mean that you are my son. Only God knows how much we all love you" Malik
"Now tell us what will you give Di?" Trish
"I brought her this" RK then he handed his wife a diamond set. Which all the family astonished by its beauty
"OMG di you are so lucky. You got the best gift" Aryan
"That is because she is the party girl. In your birthday party you will get the best gift" RK seeing the jealous in Aryan's eyes and he was little sad
"Thank you" Madhu to RK
"Just thank you. You should kiss him to thank him" Padmini
"Mom" RK and Madhu said at the same time with a shock look in their eyes
All the family laughed at them
"Ok, Ok you don't need to kiss him here. You can do it in your house. But now at least Rishabh you should help her wearing it" Padmini
"Please mom I will put it by myself" Madhu
"Are you still shy from your husband? You are married for two months now. You shouldn't be shy" Padmini
RK thought in his mind that Padmini will not stop if he didn't do it
"If I helped her will you please stop" RK
"Ok I will stop but you have to help her" Padmini
RK looked at Madhu with I have to look and he got close to her. She felt her heart is popping from her chest. She doesn't know why. But it was new wired feeling for her. RK put the necklace around her neck. He noticed her face blushed and he got confused.
Madhu was lying on couch her head on her mother lap. Her mother caressing her hair. Watching her husband playing with her brother the new game playstation 3
"Tell me Madhu how is everything between you and Rishabh? Are you happy with him?" Padmini
"Like you said mom. The best to marry someone loves me. He loves me a lot. And he cares for me. He is the best husband any woman could have" Madhu
"But why I see sadness in your eyes" Padmini
"No mom I'm happy" Madhu faking smile
"Are you still not having feeling for him?" Padmini
"How could mom. He is my husband. And he caring for me a lot. I must have feeling for him. Good feeling" Madhu
"But you don't love him yet" Padmini
"My heart just need more time" Madhu
"Does Rishabh know that you don't love him?" Padmini
"He agreed to give me all the time I need" Madhu
"It must be difficult for him" Padmini
"It is ok mom we are ok please don't worry or overthink about it" Madhu
"Promise me Madhu that you will not hurt him" Padmini
"Sure mom he is my husband. I can't hurt him. Not intentionally at least" Madhu wiping a tear slipped from her eye remembering how bad she hurt her husband.
She was watching RK wan the game. Her brother upset because he lost. RK started to tickle her brother's foot to make him laugh. Her brother stood up and attacked RK tickling him everywhere in his body until he fall on the ground laughing and almost can't breathe.
Madhu got angry from her brother and stood up to go to them but her mother stopped her
"Leave them Madhu. Rishabh playing with them as if he was in the same age. They both play like that for hours" Padmini
They stayed at Malik's house all the day then they went to their house
Dear Diary
Today it was my first visit to my family after my marriage. It feels so good to be with them. I really missed them so much. I don't visit them because it is hard for me to hide the truth from my mother. We always share everything among us. Even today, I almost tell her that I lost RK's love. That I hurt him badly. That we don't have husband and wife relationship. But seeing RK's happiness there stopped me. There is his home not here. There he is living his life not here in this dead house. I can see he belong to them. If I have to pay my family as your happiness cost, I will do it happily RK. If I have to give my family away to you RK I will do it. Maybe they will give you the happiness I couldn't give to you. Maybe they could erase the pain I caused to you. Maybe it could reduce the guilt I feel in my heart
Dear Diary
Today we celebrate Madhu's graduation. I'm really happy for her. Finally, she reached her goal. She became a doctor. I'm sure she will be great one. Seeing her happiness today was the best that happened to me since my marriage. But something strange happened today. When I got close to her, she blushed. She wasn't uncomfortable like any other time. I don't know why. Does she have feeling for me? RK wake up. Don't dream so far. Don't think like that. She loves Sultan and she doesn't love you. You must remember that so you don't get hurt. Don't imagine things would never happen. Live the reality. No matter how bad it is. It is better than living a lie. Did you forget your conditions? No love. No passion. No intimacy.
Now focus and think about tomorrow. It will be her first day in hospital. She will start her internship. You must be gentle with her. Forget your harsh treatment you gave to her all those years. She is your wife now not only your student. You can see where your harsh treatment took you both. Maybe if I weren't that tough, she would love me instead of Sultan. Don't mention his name. His name make me frantic. He did nothing wrong. But I can't imagine my wife loving him not me.
RK focus. Forget all about him now. You were talking about Madhu's internship. You will be good to her. You can't let anyone in hospital feel there is a problem between you two. Your problems should stay in your house. Now sleep because you have surgery early morning
