Because the hugs were real, Neil was relieved to see Avni before him safe and he really cannot take her MU him and being angry. Neil does want his love back but he had to be tough after Avni was determined to leave but yes from Avni's POV it does not appear that way. Avni feels played and I don't blame her

Is lost when at the end he creates a situation as if everything was deception to handcuff her.

I just hope this should be after the intimate dance and red Saree she was forced to wear...I hope this should be before handcuffing. We know Neil is trying to protect her but her feelings are fragile now...atleast his actions should convey he still loves her but doesn' want her to break the law or something in those lines rather than like look you still have feelings for me and I don' trust you anymore.

I just hope Neil does something making avni suspicious about his behaviour.
